I guess he kicked him out of his mind, but sent his mind only to the upside down? I guess Will hasn't physically been in the upside down since season 1? Am I following? Dustin and Steve highlight scene this episode for sure. Y'all funny AF for skipping Max's scenes cause she was trippin!

Yeah season 1 was the last time he was physically in the upsidedown. Season 2 he was possessed or something by the mindflayer so was some sort of vessel in the upsidedown if I remember correctly it's been a while lol... And yeah I ain't watching all that dialogue 😂 I was like are we serious right now Max!!

Mrs. Wheeler hearing Lucas' name and immediately marching down to help because she has known her kids best friends since they were little nuggets 😭😭😭 I know Holly finding her courage is important and all but I can't get over how her mom is RIGHT THERE. She's always been with Holly, throughout all the seasons, she's always been taking care of her, I feel like it would've been really cute if she used that love to try to get back. Lol I'm hoping Max didn't really realize this until the end cause yeah it looks kinda bad to just leave Holly on her own I definitely feel you. A lot of people had problems with the pacing of this second drop cause it felt like we were focusing too much on character relationships all of a sudden. I love these slower scenes but I do think they couldve added SOME urgency to them ya know?? In the Max scene I was ripping my hair out because the urgency we had an audience was not matched by the characters. I think it worked better with Jancy cause it legit felt like they were gonna die. Ya know?
