ALD1 is here and so I had to check out their latest songs. I'll post the MV reaction shortly, Im working on it now! Should I watch the OT8 ver of Chains that they did live? :o

I think they should let Leo have a hand on the tracks to give it some style, but also it feels like they are still trying to find their style with the mix of tracks as well, personally I like the hype sounding tracks so raw flame and formula were great to me, especially in the car or listening to it at the gym lol

Overall, I am okay with this project. IMO it's not perfect, but it's okay for a debut. My top 3 songs are probably Never Been to Heaven, Cinnamon Shake, and Chains... but Freak Alarm is up there for me too, especially with the bridge!! I feel very conflicted with the song Raw Flame, there are aspects of the song (and frankly this whole debut) that I really like, but there are also a LOT of parts that are not my vibe. I'll have to listen to it in the car a few times.

Unfortunately I really don't think I've found my "song" yet from this group. the next most nerve-wracking part after watching a survival show group and hoping you like the lineup is the question "am I going to like the music?" The only thing I really connected with here is the OT8 version of Chains and that's already a cheat code but I am really glad that they recorded one. I always wondered why ZB1 never got to for some of the more popular boys planet tracks. I would watch the live stages if you though I think there are often songs that are fun live even if I wouldn't listen to them otherwise. I think my favorite part of this album was just getting to hear some members voices more. The way B2P is set up I feel like someone makes it to the group and I've hardly heard them sing but everyone's sounded great here. I'll try to take this debut with a pinch of salt I imagine most of these songs were selected either before the finale or right after and everything has to be done in a bit of a rush but my hope for their future music is that they do let the members participate more so they can settle into a style that feels more natural imo.

I'm optimistic they will. They've made him the leader and Leo's got great connections as well so they'd be smart to utilize him.

I see some people have been so apprehensive on this release. I think we do need to remember thse songs were likely created and selected prior to debut lineup was basically confirmed, and likely would have been given to whatever line up came out. I am positive that they will further develop their own sound, and that Leo will get a chance to be heavily involved in their musical direction. I do still like the release and love the direction. Raw Flame isn't my typical go to, but has grown on me greatly! Still very much a NB2H hater tho lol.

I didn't like both songs on my first few listens but both of these have grown on me tremendously! Same for Formula, I actually like how 'noisy' or 'disorganised' it sounds. For Raw Flame the only part I have a problem with is the first part of the chorus esp the lyrics "watch me raw flame like a savage". Cinnamon Shake I really liked the entire song tho sometimes it feels like the chorus is too underwhelming. Surprisingly the least favourite song of the album is unfortunately Freak Alarm. Loved it on first few listens, deteriorated fast into a song that I simply tolerate
