i hated the entire double down performance. except maybe marv, which shocked me bc i typically hate his stuff lol. dbo was dbo. liked him here more than usual though. junhyeok was great ofc. yang kyle was sooo off beat lol. nillnico was very good here imo, esp bc i didn't like his other verses. oh btw he was the one who sent khundi home???? bc not so fun fact, khundi was just flat out eliminated. so his verse there must've been good but also khundi must've massively fucked up bc...

chio chicano's team really sucked. this was one of her better verses so far and it was still awful. i kinda liked willa, more than chio at least. foggyatthebottom is just never as good as i want him to be. unfortunate viceversa messed up (smtm9 flashbacks fr) bc i really did think he could go far. fleeky bang carried his team (he's suchhh a good performer like. wow) but i thought the other members were decent. i liked evan in particular! dkay's accent pisses me off sm idk why,,,, it just feels a bit faked/exaggerated. i do think the judges made the correct decision here lol

This ep was super entertaining. I agree chio can go home. I like her voice and the power but idk man. I think she’s come far enough. Surprised at mason home being sent home. Zene team was in my top three from this episode. I underestimated chaboom. Woojoo surprised me with his freestyle. I think he could definitely be something in the future. Love haon as usualllll ofc

the yaksha part gets a lil recap/summary in ep 6 since they're bringing them back on that one, they'll also show the final battle on the last part of the episode then reveal the winners. they didn't go in detail though with the battles and all, it was just focused on the finalists. Also, funny thing with YLN, while you were trying to recall his name and asking where he was back in ep 3, he was right on screen 10 secs ago getting eliminated in the fire pit lmaooo 1:10:46 is the timestamp on your reaction on ep 3 if u want to watch haha

That’s actually funny you mention northface gawd right when you ask about yaksha lol he got eliminated on smtm( wasn’t shown) then went to yaksha I’ve been reading a lot of comments, although yang Kyle has went far it seems like he’s off beat this season like he’s not matching what he usually gives like we saw in rap public, As much as I don’t think double down is a great rapper, some of the non sense chorus is just catchy from him lol, junheoks team got that one and dbo although such a character has gotten better and better over the years lol since I’ve watched him in the smtm seasons Ive been personally looking forward to hearing evan, he used to be known as pluma and was on hsr4 and smtm8 you saw but probably don’t remember, he signed to lil moshpits label at area, he’s more a melodic rapper, but over all fleeky bangs team was just too strong, probably my fav of the ep Kc on Millie’s team btw beat lucci gang but it wasn’t shown, which I’m like wow that good and mnet couldn’t show it, paak is so damn fire like wonstein or beo 2.0, like man mnet could’ve shown him sooner and I bet it would’ve been viral just that style man

milli's team absolutely dominated. it wasn't even close lol. milli is such a fully formed artist. i loved every single performance, but wez atlas' verse was probably my favorite. milli's and paak's vocals together was sooo good - paak was my favorite of the people we hadn't seen before this ep. the other team... well. royal 44 just absolutely blasting the correct notes while everyone else was fucking up gave me terrible flashbacks to high school chorus. also he's just a mumbler lol. jb should never sing ever - he's legitimately tone deaf. i came into this season hating yung blesh and i exited the season hating yung blesh. oxynova is forgettable to me but ig he was good. definitely better than the two elims loll

oh also korean commenters are saying that this episode both remedied zene's legacy from the past stage bc his stage was good here, and replaced that old stage with a NEW terrible stage in oxynova's team lmaooo

i'm a massive okashii fan and a massive osun fan, so the raf sandou team stage was one of my favorites this episode (and i think won very deservingly). osun is starting to break out of his shell which was great to see!!! raf sounded incredible, and i'm glad that he, mason, and especially jeffrey (he does produce the most out of the three) got to show their producing/composing skills because okashii as a whole is soooo talented on that front. iyaan was alright, but i thought he fit the team vibe very well. tray b's team was tray b and friends,,,, i wish mason home could've been with the other okashii members because the way tray b's team designed the stage/performance just didn't make sense for him (although he was still great and should've stayed). i get why they kept young shooter - he did better than i would've thought. young harry kinda sucks. also, raf is 27 lol, just has a bit of a baby face. kinda need his skincare routine. okashii are all 27-28

haon was 100% the best performer in that matchup. he hard-carried his team. kp was solid too. the other two..... well. i think if haon had at least one better performer on his team + 0 lyric messups he may have won here? but also the zene the zilla team was real solid. idk if this was the right beat for them though. i'm kind of sick of chaboom and flowsik though. neither of them have a chance to win imo, as both of their styles are now pretty outdated. zene has adapted well and changed his style a bunch over the years, and nosun is a new face sooo. anyways - right decision but i felt bad for haon, he did all he could (he maybe should've chosen chaboom instead of klutch with his third pick though. or something like that)

Team Zene vs Haon was crazyy but i really dont know who they would eliminate from team zene like none of those guys deserved to be eliminated off of those preformances The fleeky team was also great ive just been enjoying DKAY more and more yaksha has some really solid preformances in it ngl and its only 5 or 6 episodes if im remembering it right so its like half of the length of SMTM

Wonstein 2.0 for PAAK is funny cause I can see it now. Woojoo has the wit and quick thinking, if he can remember his lines things will be good for him in the future! Plus he's young too, I wish him luck

Zene the Zilla is funny asf Hes definitely become my favorite on the show so far along with KP. maybe because ive alredy been a fan of his music for a while. His redemption arc from Show Me 8 has been great!! Hes better than haon in my heart 😭(might be a delusional take)

TEAM ZENE AND TEAM HAON WERE CRAZY. I truly wished everyone could've advanced together! TEAM MILLI was amazing!. Overall had a great time watching these performances. I agree with your takes in each one of them, and I want to see more from those who didn't perform well.

Junhyeok is really growing on me. I already had a good impression to begin with, but the more I see of him the more I like it. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for Dbo. I love that what he’s doing is authentic to him but it never grows on me, like ever. Double Down is ... .Double Dow, I wasn’t living for his team and it's a shame that guy with the cool vocal tone got eliminated because I actually wanted to see more of him based on this performance. Honestly Double Down is riding on pure charisma for me. I really Enjoyed Fleeky’s Team, unfortunately that line about fucking his ops was in fact a bar. But pause. I really liked Dkay. This group was solid, loved how they interpreted the beat and added that artistry. Chio Chicano’s team performance was…it was a performance. Honestly I’m not even trying to be shady but how she made this far is beyond me. I wasn’t messing with her first, second or third appearance. I already knew that team was cooked from the match up. I don’t think any group bombed their performance, so i’ll say that they did fine. Team Milli was goated, def my top 2-3 teams for this episode. I love the route they took. At the start of the season Milli’s rapping wasn’t for me, I could agree she had the technical and performance capabilities but something about it wasn’t landing for me. However, when she’s making music, not just rapping to show she can rap, she really shines. Like I was really impressed and she’s my top 3 performance of this round. Her experience came through with this performance and she guided her team to a victory. I loved that melodic hook. Paak impressed me with this performance, I got to look into him more because whew, that voice. Wez Atlas did what he had to do, and showed a good performance. I wasn’t blown away but this isn’t the type of song that requires that. He put on a solid air tight performance and that's all I ask. KC was good, like I said no one in this round was abysmal, she held her own. I would put her at the bottom for this group but considering the quality of this stage overall that's not such a bad thing. Oxynova’s team I won’t speak too much on. They were playing around on that stage. JB is another rapper, who yes I can appreciate his rap contributions, has never grown on me. Since his first appearance something about the way he raps just really isn't for me. Idk if it’s the medium, the beats or what but yeah. Royal 44 CARRIED that stage, like HARD. Which surprised me because I really enjoyed Oxy’s 60 second performance and thought he would do better but it seems this wasn’t it. (This hurts to say bc that’s lowk my man but wtv) Team Tray and Team Raf Sandou both put on solid performances. This comment is getting long So i’ll skip right onto the next Team Unc aka Zene the Zilla’s team blew me away. This was a team in which EVERYONE was in their bag.I don’t even know where to start because it’s all gonna be glaze but they are proof of what experience can do for you. They were so comfortable on that stage, they had their own developing style, they knew they had to work that beat, and had great team synergy. I love their theme for their lyrics which included story telling and personal anecdotes. There's just something you gain with age and they showed that. Zene is a funny dude, he really got into that lil boy’s head, LMAOOO.

It's long but I appreciate taking the time to write it and watch with me. I laughed, agreed and it makes me think back on the performances. I think Zene's team was flawless, Raf team was tough and Milli was also just top 2. I liked your opinion on her rapping showing she can rap vs completing this team song mission, much more complete artistry - comes off better!

I watched this ep when it came out with no subs so it was nice to fully understand it this time 😂 Ik you posted the next ep already BUT going off the top of my head, my thoughts: -I’m sad Klutch & Lee Woojoo got eliminated. I understand why but they’re both talented, I wanted to see them in one more mission at least! -Everytime Wez Atlas is on stage, he kills it. He’s stable, he’s versatile, and I enjoy his musicality -Zene the Zilla team was just too strong but I loved Haon’s team’s performance -For Oxynova’s team… I liked the hook’s lyrics but because they waited too long to get it done, no one remembered it and it sounded so off 😭 ngl I probably would’ve kept Oxy & Yung Blesh -Generally, I am still on the fence about Royal 44, idk what it is. Maybe I’d like his music in the studio but I’m not liking him that much on the show or in the performances although I do like the tone of his voice so I’m conflicted smh -Tray B keeps growing on me each ep, his hook has been stuck in my head the rest of the ep VIP MY SQUAD VIP MY SQUAD lol he really does have great energy -Last thought; Jeffrey White did so well here, def my fave performance of him so far; he was my fave OKASHII member in the 60sec performances so glad he’s doing better here
