okay, this season was unreal !! by far my favorite kdrama in a very long time. this season definitely showed a lot of the after effects from the trauma in the first season for both of the boys mentally. we see woojin trying to stay afloat, feeling very insecure, and very weak since he was not able to protect his family the way that he wanted to. i feel like a lot of people kinda glossed over the fact that woojin literally has not boxed in over four years so of course, he wouldn’t have been at his best. seeing him so emotional opposed to the goofy older brother we saw in season one. it was very important for the story because no one would be able to stay that way after the trauma they experienced in season one, it’s very realistic and honestly, i love that storytelling. and seeing more that the characters are not one dimensional. i also loved gunwoo’s character arc in this season. seeing him and woojin kind of switch roles and for gunwoo to be the comfort, the one that was holding it together when woojin was falling apart was amazing to see. him hitting that low in this season and then coming out way stronger mentally, realizing he couldn’t play it safe if he wanted to protect the people that he loves like !!! ugh. i absolutely loved that !! i’m so excited to see how the two of them take on everything in season three !! 😸😸 and find out who that guy was with right hand man like? he definitely wants revenge.

i also love the new people that we got to join the gang in this like the new young detective. i really doubted him at first lol.😹 i’m excited to see who the actual real villain is. i feel like Parks character could be a villain but also i kind of see him being like an antihero cause he has no problem killing. cause from what we saw the goal is to go after the guy who made the illegal boxing ring and stop (?) the meth distribution ?? we know he wants the money but idk ig we’ll see. he would eat up a villain role though. i also hope that somehow rain ends up kind of helping our boys. like you guys said he wouldn’t do well with being somebody’s underdog and being told what to do like i would actually lose my mind if he joins the two of them and we get that trio !!

last comment i swear !! 😹😹 The scene with minbeon and rain on the phone cracked me up. like him yelling “kill her!!” right in front of the boys absolutely took me out. i loved his character this season. like bro was not coming to play.

omg wait what??? that’s crazy. 😭😭 i had no clue. i guess it makes more sense as to why they brought him in here and immediately trusted him.
