A few people in the back of the mc area are rappers, influencers and idols From what ive seen in the webs it looks like this season did way better than let’s say 10 and 11 in the sense that people seem to be going out to the hip hop concerts and what not, seeing like okashii, tray b and crew and Kc etc getting a lot of hype from the show, signings etc Nooooo the Dino spoiler lmao idk if it’s on purpose but mason also had red hair on rap public

fun fact - the mnet plus stream crashed so bad in the middle of this episode -during the prep for nowimyoung's performance. so people who were watching through there completely missed nowimyoung's performance and haon's entire section + performance. by the time twitter was able to find a place to watch they were done with all the performances lol. and the mnet plus stream never went back up

oka was absolutely incredible. my personal favorite of the finale songs. i've been a yedam fan for a whileeee and it was so cool to see him collab with mason + his verse is soooo good too. studio ver is great, it's been on loop for me.

i hated milli's song... i typically like "weirder" songs too but this just wasn't for me. i also like omega sapien + balming tiger a lot but he was just not a good fit here. one of the few songs from this season i haven't playlisted. mixing is real rough on the studio version too

honestly, upon rewatching it, milli's parts are mostly good (until the end.... which i hate entirely) but omega sapien's parts are just Not Good

i didn't like tray b's song.... which i was very very sad about, bc that's literally my firstborn son. i just thought it didn't suit him. felt more like a group number than a solo song with features too. it just didn't contain any of what made tray b *tray b*, and i feel like he could've had a shot at second place if he did a more hard-hitting song. maybe. who knows lol

nowimyoung's song was.... fine. definitely a song suitable for the finale. i honestly just wish he had gone full hyperpop lol but that was never going to do as well voting-wise as a song like this. probably third best of the finale for me, behind mason and haon

i liked but didn't love haon's song. i preferred both soom and on to the next. i loved the stage/performance though, and deservingly got him the win. super cool to see him have vinxen on the track especially - got me to listen deeper into vinxen's discography, there's really some great stuff there

public enemies was my favorite performance of the episode for sure. so good. so much energy. incredible. no notes

The girl after untell is suen she won the first few rounds of yaksha till they added new people and she has couple of songs with known k hip hop artist latest Dimo Rex etc, the one after yln was kambo also made it till the end of yaksha, the yaksha song I thought wasn’t very good when I first heard it, thought it was like a Highschool musical beat but it grew on me pretty catchy

Honestly all the songs were good to me and ended up being catchy some more than others I’d say millis song is the only one I don’t listen to as much but it’s cool when it pops up, masons song was damn catchy but we knew haon was going to win unless online votes had a bigger impact

Still mad they cut any mention of Sik-K out of haon's final song. He was there on the big screen but they hid it as much as they could and didnt even credit him. :(.

Sik-k has been going through legal stuff for drugs over the past year or two. Recently the prosecution was trying to appeal the verdict he got last year, because they wanted it to be more harsh. Anyway, they probably didn't want his name or face on the show cause of the ongoing case.

If ur still interested in okashii and wanted to throw out random khiphop it would be cool to see u react to their orton and antivandilsm albums, u could see how some of there versus through smtm and rap public sound on the the actual songs

What a great season! I also did not expect the final ranking but I love how each of them were able to shine and do what they wanted to do. For tray B I actually loved his final performance it just shows how he can do both! So happy for all of them
