I can 100% see what the members meant with this album lol! What do you guys think? How do you rate it compared to debut EP?

It’s definitely a unique project but definitely very Cortis. I like that they stay true to the music they want to make and don’t let opinions sway them.

The slippers bar is referring to when they were mobbed at the airport & so Keonho lost his slippers 😅. I always appreciate how hands on Cortis are with their music . I quite liked this EP , Wassup & Blue Lips are definitely up there for me !! I also read Blue Lips was Martin’s pov when his friends/ fellow trainees were leaving , so let’s stay in the pool a little longer together even if we get blue lips 🥹

please watch the live stages from the release party if you can too! <3

This was very different from their debut! It definitely could have gone either way! But I really liked this comeback! I loved the lyric when they said you may not like it now, but you'll be moving to the music after a while!! I think that describes their music so well, considering how out there they are with their music. Acai, RedRed, and TNT were probably my favorites on first listen.

I can see a lot of people being indifferent to this album because it isn’t what we all expect from kpop artists but I love it so much!! The boys prepared us well for what the sound would be and I think promoting YCC was a really smart choice considering a lot of the tracks have that similar raw and “unpolished” vibe. After watching the release party performances and doing the car test, I think TNT, REDRED, and wassup are my favorites off the ep!

for their second EP less than a year into their debut i think this EP is pretty bold and shows a lot of evolution already. COTL was definitely different from what you typically hear in kpop but their influences on that EP were a lot more obvious, and the songs themselves followed a certain formula you'd hear in those specific genres. for that reason, i think most people could easily vibe to their songs on COTL. GREENGREEN is a lot more experimental and even the mixing is intentionally rough, so i can understand why the members kept saying that people might be surprised a first listening to it. the songs aren't as immediately catchy as COTL but i appreciate them trying different things, experimenting, and most importantly, having fun. i think these songs will sound even better live, and i can't wait to see more performances of it. seeing a kpop group be so free to experiment and be creative feels refreshing and i honestly can't wait to see how different their future EPs will be and how their growth and experiences will be reflected in their music. netheless to say, i really like it! i'm not sure how to rate it yet compared to COTL, i need to let it marinate a bit... however i like how different both EPs feel.
