every time you post another part of this interview i remember how funny it is lol. i think you can see more of that “not pr trained” when they are live, maybe they have but i’ve never felt like there was a staff with them in the lives telling them to tone it down or things like that, i’ve watched a lot of their interviews and they seem yes more loose than others in terms of topics but still pretty standard for a kpop group, they just go to interviews or promotion spaces not so common for kpop, like the sneakers interview. btw sadly cortis does get a lot of hate specially on twt (i mean everyone hates everything there) but with them i’ve seen a lot of tweets saying that they expect cortis to do something wrong or even something racist just to have a real reason to hate them, is crazy. sorry for the long coment lmao, but thank you for the reaction, can’t wait for the last part!!

i'm surprised you haven't seen cortis hate bc they get so much hate in kpop online spaces and even outside of it sometimes. it's good that you don't see it, though. i wish i didn't have to see it sometimes bc cortis hate is often just ppl spreading misinformation and cherry-picking things to hate on the group. what i noticed (even outside kpop) is that nowadays ppl need to find moral reasons to hate on things instead of just going "i don't like this", so they feel the need to find something "problematic" to justify their hate. a lot of ppl want cortis to "slip up" so they can feel justified in their hate. it's a sick mentality to have, honestly. about their interviews and stuff, i get what tablo is saying bc cortis doesn't go into unsafe territory, but their interviews definitely feel "free" in the sense that they aren't really restraining themselves or overthinking what they're gonna say or how they present themselves, especially as rookies. that said, idk if they're fully free bc they are teenagers, so in that sense i'm sure they are advised by their team not to say or do certain things, at least until they're all full legal adults (just like what martin was saying in the 1st part that they need to keep their lyrics pg13 bc they're still teenagers).

i still remember korean fans complaining about the juhoon birthday livestream bc they were talking about dating, kissing, and other things. they weren't saying anything crazy in that live honestly, just typical teenage conversations. some k fans and k-netizens lost their minds over it bc how dare these rookies talk about such topics on a live and "ruin their image"... so they complained nonstop about it on X.
