As you know I have opened the commissions, for very few slots.

There is one thing that always surprises me when I open them and I would like to have an answer from you who follow me and appreciate my art.

As a tickle fetishist, like all of you, I often imagine my favorite characters being tickled, like Juri, Nami and many other characters from manga, comics and videogames. it is a pleasant image that they are ticklish, since unfortunately it never happens canonically.

In fact, many patreon and social commissions using these characters.

But when I open the commissions, to my great surprise, 80% of you users ask me for my characters.

I'd really like to know what the reason is.

I'm not sad, I'm probably proud of this, because for me it would mean that for you my characters are well characterized and you like to see them tickled.

Or you don't like my style on characters that are not mine '^^

In short, why do you ask me for commissions from my characters?

Well, while I can't speak for everyone, here are my two cents. The thing about official characters like the aforementioned Juri and Nami is that we see fanart of them being tickled, worshiped, etc. pretty much all the time, and as nice as that is, there's just something about an artist's own original characters that captures the imagination more. Your characters are well-defined with their own world, personalities, designs, interactions, and everything, so we like to see how they would approach such situations, both as an extension of the characters themselves and the artist's own vision. Honestly, it speaks to how well-realized they are that people want to see more of them in situations like this. At least that's how I see it.

Perché le "tue" ragazze sono super carine, Sandy poi, io ci leggerei un fumetto di 1000 pagine su lei che viene solleticata😅....e comunque il tuo stile di disegno a me piace molto, anche con altri personaggi, anzi avrei proprio voluto vedere c-18 nelle grinfie di queen finger, purtroppo non sarà così😞

I just think having the creator himself draw his own characters has different meaning . We all see Fan Art of Nami being tickled everyday, but if Oda himself one day just released an official picture of Nami being tickled I think our little community would go insane XD And the characterisation of you characters is fantastic with great personality’s, design, and just has a lot depths as a character in general. To me they don’t just live in the world of tickling, I see them as real characters with real lives and different motivations that would each handle a situation differently.

That’s right I commissioned one of your characters. Didn’t really want anyone else. You have a defined offering of OC characters. For artists who don’t have OC’s I commission known IP and pop culture characters.

Like pretty mich all the others said i like to comission the OCs because you know their personality and where they are ticklish the most. Plus no one can draw them the way you do which adds to the appeal ^^

Thank You very much. What you wrote makes me proud and happy. Now that I think about it, I really miss Dave Alvarez's character, Yenny. Surely if I could have commissioned some illustration from him, I would have asked for Yenny or Margot. I understand what you mean. Thank you very much. ^^

that's exactly what I'm trying to convey to you. I'm glad you perceive the characters this way. I am sure that in 2023 they will be even more outlined. I completely agree on the question of the manga characters. I've been hoping in vain for years that Oda makes Nami ticklish. Let's hope it happens before the end of One Piece.
