Next Feature (Patreon)

I'm currently working on extending Statblocks with fields that allow you to mark how many time you have used a feature and what's the max amount of usage.

This might sound a little abstract but you can basically use this for anything that is limited in some way. A special ability you can use once per short rest, legendary actions that you can use three times per battle or even Spell Slots and Death Saves.

As a matter of fact TA already let's you define those fields (currently only 5e but PF is missing just an updated form). And the HP Tracker implementation is looking 30% done. So it might not be too long until I can release this.

But because you can define when these limits are reset automatically I'd also like to introduce this system. This means, a round tracker (and who's turn it is), short rest and long rest mechanics, and also a "next day" button. This needs to be available for single tokens, or a group of tokens or all tokens, and it will need to update the limits accordingly.

As you might realize this is a lot of work, so I might not ship it with the limited usage feature initially but after I had time to find a good solution. Hopefully before my son is born, because then I might be preoccupied for a few weeks 😁.

The video above shows how this might look, although this is still not in the design phase, so might look completely different. If you have good ideas on how it should look, let me know in the comments.
