The first-class cabin was absurdly large. Four sets of seats, arranged in pairs facing each other, with adjustable plastic barriers to turn them into private fortresses. More importantly, it was split from the rest of the plane by another plastic wall and a door, ensuring their privacy.

Michael was really starting to enjoy the way SHIELD tried to spy on him.

Darcy had claimed the window seat across from him before the stewardess finished her welcome, dropping into it with the boneless confidence of someone who had never once worried about where she belonged. Her bag hit the floor, and her boots were already halfway off.

Jane sat beside her, rigid as a violin string, eyes fixed on the seat pocket in front of her like she hoped to find an emergency manual for social catastrophes. She hadn't spoken since she had learned they weren’t separating like he expected, and the flush still hadn't fully left her neck.

“Wow, it looks like the cabin belong to us, fun!” Darcy said cheerfully while she reclined the seat. “Whee, it goes all the way!” Watching her treat the luxury cabin as a toy, Michael couldn’t help but feel amused. “Jane, how about we put this to a better use? I’m sure Michael can help you enjoy it —“

“Darcy, shut it,” Jane gasped, poking her wildly.

“Why, stewardess is gone,” Darcy said.

“Yes, but…” Jane said as she looked behind Darcy, seeing Natalie, fully recovered from her earlier lapse, once again radiating like sin on legs.

Darcy looked back and paused when she saw Natalie. “Oh, sorry. As a poor person, I have no idea how to act here. Just don’t get me kicked out, and we’re cool,” she said, though there was not a trace of apology in her tone.

Michael smirked. “Let me introduce you guys to Natalie. My friend’s assistant.”

“Wow, assistants can fly first class,” Darcy said, then poked Jane. “You’re definitely underpaying me,” she said.

Jane sighed. “I’m not paying you at all, Darcy. That’s what being an intern means.”

Darcy laughed, happy to pull Jane out of her shy shell. “Good.” Then, she turned to Natalie. “I’m Darcy. Jane’s unlucky indentured servant. And Jane is a big brain scientist who has been escaped her exile from the Canadian tundras. We’re returning to rebel.”

Jane sighed again. “Sorry about Darcy. I’m afraid her body takes all the nutrients she gets, leaving none for her prefrontal cortex.”

“Exactly,” Darcy said as she comically caressed her side, then paused. “Hey, I know enough biology to know that you just called me stupid.”

Natalie smirked. “She called you impulsive … but since you failed to catch it …”

“Oh, attacked from all sides,” Darcy gasped. “Michael, save me from the fascism of higher education.”

Michael shrugged. “From my point of view, all college students are evil,” he smirked.

“Oh, psycho-Anakin quote. Nice,” Darcy laughed.

While she did, Natalie sat on the seat right across from him with a sensual grace, though he noted that the buttons of her shirt were yet to recover, and her body turned toward him, her legs crossed. It looked like her seduction game was back on after her earlier retreat.

It looked like the fact that he had disappeared to have sex — Darcy’s glowing face making it very obvious — didn’t dissuade her.

Michael smirked. Interesting move. He expected the opposite.

“So, how did you meet?” Natalie asked. “You look too familiar to meet at the lounge.”

“Oh, this bastard here met me in New York, swept me off my feet with lies and promises, only to kick me out in the morning like a monster in a horrible little car. Even the food was horrible. It ruined my stomach.”

Jane sighed. “You’re the one who decided a bottle of champagne and caviar made a good breakfast.”

“Betrayal from all sides,” Darcy laughed.

Before she could escalate, the stewardess appeared. Blonde, mid-twenties, a smile that had been sharpened with constant practice. Michael would have believed that she practiced that smile during flights, but one detail gave her away immediately.

The way she walked. She moved almost like a model, but the way she brought her feet down slipped slightly. Her instincts didn’t belong to a model or a stewardess. They belonged to someone with serious unarmed combat training, something he only caught thanks to his latest hand-to-hand skill.

SHIELD, obviously.

However, he didn’t give any indication. He might have tried to seduce her, but not only Jane was a more interesting target, but she also offered more potential rewards. He might have gotten stronger, but not enough to ignore the value of the tickets.

Especially a potential platinum.

Her eyes lingered on Michael a beat too long before she caught herself. Michael wondered if it was about the mission, or his looks. Frankly, both had an equal chance. "Can I get anyone a drink before takeoff?"

"Champagne," Darcy said instantly. “And caviar.”

"Water," Jane said, sighing exasperatedly. “Also, don’t bring her caviar and champagne. A red wine and cheese platter is better.”

“But, boss—“ Darcy started to argue, stopping only when Jane glared at her. Though that made her smile wider.

"Dry martini," Natalie said, tilting her head toward Michael.

Michael leaned back and let his gaze settle on the stewardess with an easy, crooked grin. "Whiskey. The worst you have."

She blinked. "I'm sorry?"

"Cheapest. Roughest. The kind that you used to scrape rust in emergencies."

She laughed uncertainly, glancing at the other women as if checking whether this was a joke. No one contradicted him. "I'll… see what I can find."

“Bring the bottle if you can,” he said.

Darcy snorted as the stewardess retreated. "Still drinking paint thinner?"

"It builds character."

"Is it worth losing all your taste buds?"

Natalie listened to the discussion with a polite smile, but he could see her dissecting it as well.

"So," Darcy said, drawing the word out into three syllables as the plane began to taxi. "This is intimate. Who wants to ride Michael first?"

"Darcy!" Jane warned, her blush intense.

"What? I'm just saying. Four people. Private cabin. Long flight. It's like the setup for one of those cheap erotic movies with horrid lighting."

“Nonsense,” Michael suddenly cut her off, his voice sharp and angry. Darcy looked shocked. He smirked. “If you think I’ll let anything I’m part of ship with poor lighting, you’re delusional.”

“Jerk,” Darcy said, but that didn’t prevent her from laughing. Jane was chuckling as well, happy to see Darcy on the back foot for once. “And, that’s the part you’re arguing? Not the erotic movie part.”

He shrugged. “The lighting here is surprisingly good. I’m game if you are,” he said, his smirk was large, but just crooked enough to turn that into a challenge.

Darcy opened her mouth, but before she could finish, the stewardess came back, carrying a tray with their orders. Including the bottle he asked for. He had a feeling she had to check economy class for it.

Michael took the drink, shamelessly checking stewardess’s cleavage when she leaned forward unnecessarily, but the moment she pulled back, he noticed Natalie used the opportunity to open another button.

Michael was happy about that, and not because he got a glimpse of Natalie’s amazing breasts, her bra disappeared somewhere during her disappearance. It gave him a good reason to ignore the bombshell blonde.

Stewardess’ annoyed glare was a thing of beauty, especially since it was her mission. He had no doubt that she wanted him to ‘seduce’ her so she could join, directing the discussion.

He shrugged. They had to limit themselves to the bugs they had installed around the cabin, three of them he could already identify. Luckily, there were no cameras.

"To unexpected reunions,” Michael raised his glass.

Darcy clinked his glass against her wineglass. Natalie touched hers delicately. Jane held her water like a shield and didn't move.

"Jane," he said gently.

She met his eyes. The flush crept back. "What?"

"Relax."

"I am relaxed."

"You're holding that glass like you’re about to face the wicked witch of the west."

Darcy barked a laugh. Even Natalie smiled, though hers was more careful. Jane looked down at her white-knuckled grip and forced her fingers to loosen.

"Better," he said, and let his attention drift away from her before she could feel cornered. The secret to seducing someone like Jane wasn't endless pursuit. Especially since the hardest part was already completed thanks to Darcy.

Darcy, predictably, had no such reservations.

"So, Natalie," she said, leaning forward with the predatory curiosity of a talk show host who had just spotted blood. "How long have you been working with Michael?"

"Oh, we just met today," Natalie corrected pleasantly. “It was an … unusual meeting," she added, with only the slightest flinch in her tone while she implied that they merely had sex rather than meeting in a gruesome scene of violence, with him covered in blood.

"Michael, really. And here I was, thinking we had something special. Who would have guessed you’re such a man whore." Darcy gestured vaguely at all of him.

“Really?” Michael said with a smirk. “Casual attitude toward sex and multiple … very good friends didn’t clue you in.”

Jane looked alarmed. “You have a girlfriend?” she asked.

“No,” he responded. “I have a few good friends who are aware that … I’m a manwhore.”

“They don’t mind?” she asked, sounding genuinely curious. “What are you doing, keeping them in different cities?”

That made Natalie snort. “The only reason he’s not with three of them in a private plane, because we had been delayed by traffic.”

Michael shrugged. “Perks of having good stamina,” he said, deliberately underselling himself. It was always important to know when to brag and when to undersell.

Especially when one had someone like Natalie defending him.

“That sounds like a challenge—“ Darcy started, but Jane poked her.

“Down for a minute,” Jane said. “Just calm down until we properly lift off, at least.” Then, Jane looked at him. “I’m sure you have other things to offer than your … stamina. You don’t have to debase yourself—” She was really earnest. That made both Darcy and Natalie laugh in uproar. “What’s wrong?” Jane asked, baffled at the reaction.

Darcy answered, still wheezing. “I … it’s just … it was like a line from Pretty Woman.”

Jane blushed and panicked at the same time. “Oh my god. I’m sorry if it came as an insult. I just wanted to tell you that you are smart and kind. Far more than just —“

Darcy interrupted her again. “As much as I love you digging even deeper, let me stop you,” she said. “Michael here is not only a sex god, but he’s also a multimillionaire, not to mention an artist that exploded in art world like a nuke,” she said. Then, she looked at Natalie. “Am I missing something?”

“He’s also an expert on art history and an expert in modern painting, good enough to be hired as an expert by every single museum,” Natalie said. She paused, but he shook his head, telling her not to reveal the other detail. After all, technically, it was supposed to be a secret.

Jane looked at him in shock. “T-that’s it,” she stammered, shocked.

He smirked. “There’re a few more things, but they’re confidential.”

“What, are you some kind of secret agent?” Darcy asked.

He snorted. “As if I would ever work for the government. There are some evils I would never dabble in.”

“To anarchy,” Darcy cheered as she raised her glass, once again showing her perfect timing to interject. The plane lifted. The cabin tilted, and for a moment the world was just engine noise and pressure. Jane's hand gripped the armrest, and Michael noticed the tension wasn't just about flying.

She kept stealing glances at him, then at Darcy, then back at the window, replaying the storage room in her head. He knew the pattern. It was the sight of a woman who wanted something they'd convinced themselves they shouldn't have. The internal argument was louder than any conversation he could offer, so he let it run.

Instead, he focused on the woman beside him. "How's the portfolio coming along?" he asked Natalie.

"I've been practicing with my phone. Enough to work on."

"Show me."

She removed her belt and sat on his lap instead. One perk of being in first class, there was no nagging stewardess. She also opened her own laptop and started showing her newest pictures. They were competent, well-framed shots that indicated a developing eye for composition, though for one, he decided to ignore the technical aspects.

Natalie’s slideshow of naked photos, all taken in the same seat he had been sitting, was clearly not about photography. Nor the way her hips were moving back and forth with a smoothness that made him suspect she had also worked as a stripper for some time.

Perfectly acceptable way of paying for college, he decided.

He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer. Interestingly, she reacted even more intensely than she did to his erection, but since she tried to hide, he decided to let it slide.

He already had some suspicions, but she was clearly reacting to his latest trait, Soft Hugger, which made his hugs even more comfortable and secure. It shouldn’t have an intense impact her, but she had just seen the aftermath of him killing to protect someone he cared about.

It clearly made an impact on her, and not entirely negatively.

Natalie’s reaction reminded him of Jessica somewhat, but considering the reaction was softer, it couldn’t be as bad … but then, Jessica’s case was special. Expecting Natalie’s trauma to be more intense than someone who had dealt with a mind-controlling stalker was unfair.

“Interesting picture,” he said, interrupting her flirting to tap a photo where she'd caught herself looking off-camera. It was an interesting one. “Almost worthy of a spot in an exhibition.”

“Really?” Natalie asked, though her hips continued to move. She also grabbed his hand, pulling his other arm around her waist. “It looks normal. Isn’t it too blurry?”

“It is, but…” he started, then paused. Her hips were moving in a way that suggested she was less interested in the technical explanation. It meant her closeness was not about returning to her modeling career. “Doesn’t matter. Just look pretty, and leave the rest to me,” he said as he tightened his grip, enjoying her lap dance.

At the same time, he could see Darcy poking Jane. “That’s what happens when you let a bitch steal your turn,” Darcy said in a stage whisper, somehow managing to deliver that in a fun way. Natalie caught Darcy’s gaze, and they shared a smirk, showing that Natalie took it as the compliment Darcy intended.

Jane just turned on her screen, put on a movie, and put on her headphones rather than the noise-canceling ones that came with the seats. He could hear just how loud her headphones were, they were not enough to block the sound.

Naughty.

“Interesting approach to photography,” he said once he focused on Natalie again, and waited while she moved through the pictures, slowly progressing from naughty to pornographic. Her hips maintained the same progression. “You’re one naughty little assistant, aren’t you?” he added, pushing one hand through her hair.

“It’s …” she moaned, then paused. “W-what would my boss say?”

“Why don’t you send her a picture and ask her opinion?”

“What if she fires me,” Natalie whispered, angling for his approval.

“You know what,” he said as he pulled her hair back, kissing her neck. He thought about explaining the bet, but he decided against it. No need to create a misunderstanding over a lighthearted joke. “If she fires you, I’ll hire you as my assistant. How about that?”

“Oh, tempting,” she replied. “Can you match my salary?”

“Doubt it, but there are other perks,” he chuckled, then he tightened his grip around her waist, hugging her even tighter. He was more than happy to give her the hug she wanted, especially since she was coaxing it with the best lap dance he had ever received.

It was not even a competition.

“Come on, Jane. You’re losing ground,” Darcy said after pulling one of Jane’s headphones.

"Darcy, I swear to God—"

"What? He's right there. It's not like you haven't already mast—" Darcy started, only for Jane to silence her with her hands.

"Finish that sentence, and I will throw you out of this plane."

Michael grinned and leaned back, giving Natalie space to operate while he listened to their bickering. He had to admit, in addition to being a great lay and an excellent companion, Darcy was shaping up to be an excellent wingwoman.

Jane and Darcy bickered for some time, but when Natalie started moaning, Jane grabbed her headphones back, put them on, and closed her eyes very pointedly. “Well, your loss,” Darcy said as she left her seat, and instead moved to one Natalie had just vacated. “So, how much for a lap dance?” Darcy asked.

Natalie sent an excessively haughty glare her way. “You can’t enter the club without fulfilling the dress code.”

Darcy smirked, but then wilted. “Girl, I’m coming from a godforsaken tundra. I’m already wearing my sexiest clothes.”

Natalie smirked, and pointed the carry-on next to her seat. “See if you can find something … impressive.”

“Oh, that sounds like a challenge,” Darcy said, immediately disappearing to the bathroom with Natalie’s bag. “How about this as an audition?” Natalie said.

He chuckled even as he squeezed her closer, enjoying her treatment while she clearly enjoyed hers.

His enjoyment spiked even further when Darcy walked out, wearing Natalie’s clothes. They were dressed the same … technically. However, Darcy had much more generous curves, stretching the skirt enough to make it impossible for her to zip. The shirt was even more ridiculous, buttons forced apart, barely holding on despite not buttoning three of them.

No, he corrected. It would have looked ridiculous on another woman of the same measurements. Darcy somehow owned the ridiculous fit, and that wasn’t just about all the flesh she revealed.

No, it was something to do with her casual, devil-may-care attitude that turned it into something unique, especially when Darcy leaned on the absurdity during her walk.

“So, when is my turn?” Darcy said with a chuckle.

“Wait for the end of the song,” Natalie said, even as she started one from her laptop.

“Cheater,” Darcy said, but she still waited her turn obediently.

Soon, Michael found himself as the dummy while two girls competed. Darcy was uncoordinated and playful, while Natalie showed herself to be an excellent dancer. Alternating, Michael felt like he was in heaven.

Jane watching the show with her spiking arousal while she did her best to look unaffected made things even more entertaining; enough that he let things stay at lap dance level rather than pushing for more.

After all, the flight wasn’t exactly long, and sometimes it was more fun to enjoy the appetizer rather than rush into the main course.

This is the second time that Michael quoted Anakin in front of Natalie Portman, isn't it? Is he trying to seduce Jane through her actress lmao?
