“Well, that was … something,” Serena said once the door closed.
“Tell me about it,” Blair responded with a snort.
“Introspection is fun, but how about we get rid of the handcuffs before we do anything more?” he suggested, but he wasn’t trying to be convincing.
It was about teasing them more than anything.
“What do you think, Serena? Do you think he deserves to be freed?” Blair said.
He was surprised by the speed that they got friends again. Serena probably managed to weasel out the reason for the bar encounter, which was to keep her away from Tripp, and the thing with Damien had been an extra touch.
One that Serena had to appreciate considering Jenny was her stepsister.
Serena would have resented the interference with her life, but his revelation about Tripp’s pattern of affairs with his interns was too damning. Serena loved to break established boundaries to prove a point, but above all, she wanted to be unique. Running away with the man she loved at the cost of destroying his marriage was mean, but unique.
Becoming yet another notch in his surprisingly monotone bedpost filled with blonde interns was not unique.
“No, Ethan deserves to be punished,” Serena said with a playful smile. “He deserves for exciting me for that nonexistent modeling role. I would have loved it,” she said, then sighed. “Especially since I don’t have a job anymore after the things with Tripp.” She giggled. “Though, I suspect he doesn’t have one either, not with his multiple affairs already on Gossip Girl.”
He didn’t say anything, but looked at Blair. She tried to avoid his gaze, no doubt wanting to avoid mentioning that part, but he didn’t allow it. It was a pattern of their friendship. They avoided speaking the truth to avoid some momentary inconvenience, only for things to escalate to an absurd level.
Avoiding mentioning the modeling job seemed to be one of those, even though Serena would notice the workshop and the studio. The curtains were pulled to hide them momentarily, but that was not a permanent solution, not against someone as curious as Serena.
Blair was quiet for a moment, then she sighed. “Technically, that part is not a lie,” she admitted.
Serena’s head turned to Blair, surprised. “What do you mean?”
Blair sighed as she stood up, and pulled the curtains, revealing her workshop. "I’m setting up my own design house, independent of Waldorf Design. It’s still early, and we’ll pop it up as a ghost label, completely anonymous at first.”
“Why?” Serena said. “Can’t you just set a label under your mother’s brand?”
Blair chuckled. “Exactly. Under my mother, where she’ll interfere, decide for me, and even if I succeed, it will be her success. A rich child dabbling with something interesting, everyone would think. No, I need something real. Something mine.”
Serena stared at her. “And, you want me as the model.”
Blair seemed to offer immediately, but he once again caught her gaze, reminding her to not to hurry up. “Yes, and no. A part of me wants to keep it away from you. Hide it as mine, something that you can’t touch. I am so fed up with you swooping into my life, taking everything, and disappearing.”
“B,” Serena whispered.
“I know. I know you have your own difficulties, that I’m using you as an excuse. But sometimes, it’s easier to put you as the villain of my life and blame every problem on you. I did it since the day you disappeared without a fucking warning.”
“I didn’t know how to face you,” Serena whispered. “After I made that mistake.”
“Believe me, I got over you fucking Nate far easier than your disappearance,” she said, then with a huff. “The idea that you could disappear, like our friendship didn’t matter. Do you know I still wake up from nightmares where you disappeared without a word…”
With that, Blair stood up, climbing the stairs. Serena chased.
“Well, it looks like they had forgotten me,” he chuckled, amused as he flicked his wrist, and unlocked the handcuffs. He suspected that they would be absent for a while, so he took his phone, checking the news.
The sudden recalling of the Belgium Ambassador was already on the news, as was the declaration from Tripp’s campaign team, declaring that he was stopping the campaign efforts due to sudden health complications.
Technically, there was a chance that his wife had ripped his balls upon learning just how many times he had cheated her, which would make it a health issue.
He hummed while he checked a few more things, including answering Rosa, asking whether he was available tomorrow in New York. He answered positively, curious why he was calling her. After all, she was supposed to be enjoying her time with Robin.
Then, he waited, and only when he heard the footsteps, he locked himself. When they appeared on the stairs, their makeup was applied again, and they were giggling. It looked like their friendship was fixed.
He suspected that it was complicated like everything else in their life. As friends, they loved each other, but also there was too much hurt for it to be fixed by a heartfelt talk. But, they were used to stop talking while bandaging the issues, so this counted as progress. He couldn’t push them further without risking shattering their relationship.
In a way, they were like a married couple trying to heal from mutual infidelity, with resentment covering everything.
For today, they needed the distraction. “Finally,” he said with a mocking tone. “I was starting to think that I was forgotten.”
“Oh, never,” Blair responded. “We still need to show what we learned from Carina,” she added.
“She was cool,” Serena added, which, despite the naughty subject matter, he could understand the sentiment. Above everything else, Carina was cool.
After all, she was a super spy, it was hard to get cooler than that.
“Alright, show me, then,” he said. “But, before we start, can you bring me a bottle of water, Serena? I’m getting thirsty.”
“My pleasure,” Serena said and walked to the kitchen, her hips dancing. Blair waled closer. “Are you sure?” he whispered. He could see that she made a decision, that her earlier fear was gone, but sometimes, speaking was the safest.
“Yes,” she whispered back.
“Why?”
She shrugged. “I no longer fear that Serena’s brightness will overshadow me. Not in front of your eyes,” she said. “All night, I have watched her, already fascinated by you. You were in detention together. It would have been so easy to be Serena’s protector, console her and make her fall in love with you. Yet, you let Carina handle the situation, just because I asked,” she said, sighing. “Anyone else would have used that moment to drop me.”
He kissed her. He disagreed with her interpretation, or that it was some kind of great sacrifice on his part, but he understood why she saw it that way. Past trauma of people choosing Serena again and again was strong, which, in the show, had been a big reason why she had chosen Chuck in the end.
Chuck might have sold her for a hotel, but at least he hadn’t chosen Serena… Talk about low standards…

He picked the reward while they continued to kiss.
[Inspiration for an Impressionist Painting]
It was a nice reward, though it was once again repetitive, which was annoying. A part of it was Blair’s obsession with impressionist paintings, as she was obsessed with Degas, but still, it was his second inspiration reward.
Still, it would be interesting to push his limits.
When Blair pulled back from the kiss, her smile was more confident, even excited. “Now, let’s blow our new model’s mind. I can’t afford her saying I was bragging falsely…” she said, then paused. “It’s okay, right?”
“What part, bringing her into our circle, or the fact that you had been bragging?” he teased her.
She shook her head. “No, the fact that I offered her the model job without consulting you.”
“It’s alright. Ultimately, the brand is yours. It has to be your decision,” he said, kissing her cheek gently. “I might occasionally have to veto major decisions as a minority owner, but that’s only relevant for major decisions. Deciding between qualified models is not one of them.”
“Good answer,” she said, then kissed one last time before pulling back.
“Hey, we agreed to interrogate him together,” Serena called from a distance, her tone light and casual. And, if he was being honest, very charming and attractive at the same time.
The change was immense. Seeing her like that, he could understand why Blair had developed that complex about being the second choice.
“I’m just warming the prisoner up,” Blair responded as she sat to his left, and Serena sat to his right. Then, one hand from each side landed on his shaft, and they started rubbing. They made eye contact with each other, their giggles growing louder.
It was weird. Not weird in a bad way, mostly amusng.
In general, threesomes he had split into two categories. Sometimes, the women in question were attracted to each other to a noticeable degree, meaning their attention was split between him and the other lady in the bed.
Other times, there was not that attraction, and that meant it felt like two different events happening simultaneously, taking turns and interacting relatively minimally.
The way Blair and Serena caressed and teased his body during ‘torture’ felt different. They were paying attention to each other far more than they were to him, to a degree that, if it wasn’t for his very sharp observation, he would have assumed that he was just an excuse for them to live a lesbian fantasy.
Yet, it was not. They weren’t attracted to each other in a sexual manner, and they were wildly attracted to him. Yet, they cooperated to a freaky degree as they played with his body. As if they were making a friendship pact, and he was the sacrifice to seal the covenant.
There was a reason he used the word weird in his mind to describe it. Yet, he leaned back, enjoying the treatment.
The change of pace was fun.
“I still can’t believe you went to all this trouble to protect me from Tripp instead of talking to me,” Serena said.
That made Blair chuckle. “Yes, Serena, because we react calmly when someone gives us good advice. What did you say to your mother when she warned you about Tripp?”
Serena blushed. “That she was hardly the one to give advice on being a homewrecker.”
He did his best to keep a snort to not interrupting their rhythm, as the comment on Lily Woodsen was devastatingly accurate. He didn’t laugh because their heart to heart talk was surprisingly fun, and it would have been even if it didn’t come with double handjob and constant kisses to his body.
“Yes. And, once I dug a few things, I noticed he has a pattern. Golden boy shacled by a torturous marriage, emotionally sucking the women to his life until he gets bored and dumps them. I didn’t want you to get hurt by him. Not after everything. Though even I was surprised to find eight other interns fired with strict NDAs.”
“How did you find that out?” Serena asked.
“I didn’t,” Blair said, then looked at him.
He smiled. “It’s not that hard to find when you know where to look,” he said, not wanting to admit he used some illegal hacking to reveal some of them.
Blair listened carefully, but that didn’t prevent her from leaning forward and capturing his shaft in her mouth, making the moment even more interesting.
Serena’s expression tightened even as her hand quickened below Blair’s lips. “And, why did you want me to help, Ethan?” she asked.
“Simple, Blair asked me to,” he admitted.
“Really? You made an enemy of van der Bilt’s because Blair asked you a favor to help another friend.”
“I’m a simple man—“ he started, which Blair interrupted by a snort that was muffled by his shaft. “Interruptions aside, I’m truly a simple man. When people I like ask for my help, I help. People I don’t like annoy me, well … let’s just say Tripp got lightly.”
“You’re talking about one of the greatest Manhattan—“ Serena started.
He snorted. “Oh, sweetie. The Van der Bilts are teetering at the edge of irrelevancy. I have to admit, William van der Bilt is a formidable figure, but he’s also an old man distracted by dozens of problems, most of them caused by his incompetent family members,” he said dismissively. “Despite what they want to believe, they are not a threat, especially not after their last bid of relevancy failed because Tripp can’t keep himself back.”
Talking politics shouldn’t be sexy, yet his dismissive opinions on one of the premier families of the Upper East Side made Blair push down with a renewed passion.
Serena watched for a moment, then smirked. “I can see why Blair is very fond of you,” she said, then kissed him. It was a statement of intent, mixed with warning. He could see Serena was threatening him with that, if he made Blair unhappy, he would make an enemy of her.
Ordinarily, he didn’t like being threatened, especially when he was in handcuffs, but he did make exceptions for sexy blondes, especially when they tugged their brunette friend up to take their place. “Always so greedy, B,” Serena whispered playfully, and started sucking him instead.
Blair focused on tracing his muscles with her tongue before finally repeating Serena’s hair pull. “And you call me greedy,” Blair responded.
They alternated several times, like they were fighting over a toy, which was supposed to be annoying, but ended up being charming. “Hey, it’s rude. I’m the guest here. I should have the priority,” Serena finally said as she sat on his lap, pushing Blair back.
Blair’s smile should have scared her. “Good point,” she said. “Give him a lap dance, then.”
Serena smirked, but before starting, she removed her panties, her hips dancing back and forth, occasionally taking the tip in. He could sense that she was already too deep into pleasure to keep the edge play for long, but Blair had other ideas.
The key was still with her, so she just unlocked the handcuffs. “Oh, no. Our prisoner is loose,” she whispered.
“You’re such a bitch, B,” Serena responded, but considering the moan she let out as he grabbed her ass, she didn’t seem to be particularly torn up at the idea. She let out an even deeper moan as he invaded her wetness, clutching her hard.
“How about it, S? Still thinking I was exaggerating?”
“Fuck no,” she moaned as he drilled her rhythmically, his cock sinking fully into her wetness. “But it explains your sudden imperviousness. Finding your center. What nonsense,” Serena moaned.
Blair said nothing, leaning back to watch the show with a huge smile. She might not have a sexual crush on Serena, but that didn’t change how much she enjoyed watching him fuck other women.
He shifted positions, and Serena was on all fours, moaning while he pumped her from behind. Her curves juggled perfectly as her body moved forward and back in rhythm to his relentless fucking, which made Blair start playing with herself even more.
"Oh God, yes," Serena moaned.
“You need to resist it more, S. As you told me, the key is control,” Blair mocked her even as she played with herself furiously.
“Not when dealing with … this,” Serena moaned as she shuddered, the climax hitting quickly. His response was to pull her arms back, use the handcuffs on her, and continue drilling her.
Serena climaxed again, and Blair did as well. This time, he let her go, as he could see she was already at her limit.
“How do you like my gift, S?” Blair moaned, her fingers deep in her core.
“You're my best friend, but this might be the best present ever, B,” Serena moaned. “Hell of a memory,” she muttered.
Blair smirked. “Why do you need the memory for?” Blair asked.
Serena’s eyes widened. “Are you saying…”
Blair smirked. “Let’s just say I’m not against you two actually getting … friendly,” Blair offered.
Serena smirked. "Who are you, and what did you do with my jealous friend Blair," she teased.
He laughed as well. “Shut up,” Blair tried to say, but he grabbed her, pulling her to his lap, starting their part of the night. Blair moaned.

This time, he selected Charisma, as it was still his lowest stat, and he wanted it to catch up with the rest. Also, he tested the rewards enough. They were fancy, but not enough.
“So, Serena,” he teased. "If you're going to be the face of Blair's launch, we need to have a few test shoots. Also, I expect at least some level of professionalism, especially when it comes to timing.”
“You’ll be taking the photos?” Serena said, hesitant, no doubt about to question why they weren’t using a professional. From their previous talk, she must have assumed him to be an investor only.
“Because he’s good. Very good,” Blair said.
“Really? Enough to satisfy your perfectionism and not just because he gives mindblowing orgasms,” Serena asked bluntly.
“Hey, be careful. I have a fragile ego,” he teased, which made the girls laugh, though in Blair’s case, it was mixed with moans.
“Believe me, he’s good. Like, make the best design houses line outside his door good if he ever wanted to work with them.”
“Really?” Serena asked.
He hummed. “We might have to have the photoshoot in an outdoor location if we want to keep it concealed, though.”
“Like what? Hamptons?”
“I’m thinking of Los Angeles, actually,” he responded.
That surprised Blair enough to pull her out of the zone. “Malibu?”
“Actually, I got my hands on a nice winery near Santa Barbara,” he said. “I have a real studio there, not to mention some nice outdoor locations we can use in absolute privacy.”
“A winery. And I challenged you to a taste test.”
“It could have been worse, you could have challenged me to a photo challenge,” he teased.
“Naturally,” Blair admitted shamelessly. “Of course, it’ll still take a few weeks. Even if we convince Little J to help me and we use both of our old designs, we need a few weeks to put together a proper line.”
“Jenny, really?” Serena asked.
“Strictly remotely,” he reminded. “Actually, she’s forbidden to come to the penthouse. But, she seems like a troubled kid, and having something to occupy her will be nice, especially once Blair makes her a proper offer including equity and independence.”
“Your weird morality is a bummer. Who bargains against their own company?” Blair muttered, but her hips riding him wildly was more honest.
After that, pleasure overwhelmed them too much for them speak.
It was a fun night.
