Hi De Ho, heroes.

Willy's here with a cool collaboration project to share with you! We've teamed up with the illustrious creator of The Griffon's Saddlebag and reimagined ten of their magic items as Draw Steel treasures. Are you looking to slip on some Flame Slippers? Do you crave the flexibility of the Thornpiercer? Have you missed the joy of blasting your foes away with the Novanite Armor? Here's your opportunity.

These are the magic items we started with. Let us know if you'd like to see more of The Griffon's curios in Draw Steel, because there sure are plenty more in the Saddlebag!

Starshot Circlet (2nd-Echelon Trinket)

Flame Slippers (2nd-Echelon Trinket)

Cranial Cradle (3rd-Echelon Trinket)

Spitfire (Leveled [Cross]Bow Treasure)

Thornpiercer (Leveled Light Weapon/Medium Weapon/Whip[!!] Treasure)

Ballatar's Buckler (Leveled Light Weapon/Shield Treasure)

Grave Digger (Leveled Heavy Weapon Treasure)

Wraps of the Restless (Leveled Hands Treasure)

Wand of Shadows (Leveled Wand Treasure)

Novanite Armor (Leveled Medium Armor Treasure)

Teos was kind enough to give us a hand with these treasures in the middle of Cracking the Sun. Be sure to give him a big thank you if you try one out and enjoy yourself!

This was sick! I really like seeing these items as fully realized relics that can transcend games, and Teos did a great job of fleshing out their unique effects for Draw Steel. I'd definitely like to see more treasures done up like this in the future. Hopefully you all will, too!

This is awesome! I'm a huge fan of Griffon's Saddlebag, used a ton of their stuff in my 5e game. Can't wait to use these in my DS game, and hope to see more in the future!

Omg yesssss, keep this up. One of the only things that make me miss dnd are the 3rd party sources like saddlebag. It came in clutch so many times for my old games, please do more!

The Seal

Really nice! Keep it up. Doesn't have to be Griffons or Artifacts, just items for Draw Steel in any way is very much appreciated! Would also love some item compendiums for The Codex VTT!

Joe Garvey

A Collab of dreams. Love this!!

James White

Exactly this. I used their stuff regularly in my 5e games

Mark Waining

Would love to see more of these!

As someone who only just recently switched from 5e to Draw Steel, this is actually a very handy ressource to understanding how magic items are built! (And if I may be so bold, I wouldn't mind a tutorial video at some point that goes a bit more in depth with magic item building)

CorenTheChosen

I will add my voice to the chorus. Griffon's Saddlebag was a wonderful set for 5e and would love to see more of this (and other) colabs for DS! Keep up the good work.

Phillip Middleton

Griffon's Saddlebag was one of my most used 3rd party supplements for D&D, would LOVE to see more come from them!

Ben-Fisher

I've just checked them over and already see a few options for magic items to give my players. Do we think these will get an official codex implementation or is it one where I'll learn how to make a treasure if I want to give my players these as rewards

Joe Auerbach

WHAT?! This is hte collab I've been waiting for! I love their magic items. I spend a lot of time converting them to Draw Steel in my head (and sometimes on paper for my players. The leveled version of Spiker and Striker that I made for our tactician is one of my party's favorite ever magic items). I'm psyched.

Alphastream

This was such a fun project! Working with the team and with these fun magic items was awesome.

James Torres

I hugely support this! I've used griffons items for years

Arcane Affinity

This is cool and a good idea I should repurpose some stuff too since I'm enjoying draw steel so much!

Athanatosti

Yoooooo! Griffon's stuff is amazing! I love everything about this!

Elijah Espinosa

Love these! Treasures like this are some of the most immediately useful stuff y'all can put out here, for me at least

haggis42

This is basically the direction most of our 3rd party 5e stuff needs to go: re-imagined for DrawSteel. Just the other day I finally got my hands on a reworked version of the MCDM Beastheart class. It looks even more awesome in DrawSteel!

Mirriky

Absolutely, please do more adaptions for Draw Steel, Daggerheart, and PF2e. I haven't played 5e for years now.

Caleb Fasnacht

The Saddlebag is one of the best parts about D&D. I'm so excited about the collab!

NikuHime

Absolutely love this collab! I used Griffon's Saddlebag items all the time in my 5e games. Can't wait to use them in my Draw Steel games!

Zencorwen

So happy to see this! Here here for more items being ported over!

Joe G

Most excellent! I love Griffon's stuff. Even when I don't use items directly from the Saddlebags, they changed the way I approach magic items for my own homebrew.

Kamen Aleksandrov

I used theory craft heroes for my player every so often and almost all of them have an item from the Griffon's Saddlebag! Love their content and really hope to see more!

EchoSerenity

I want a hundred more already.

Telarr

Thanks for this ! Very cool !

Knut Schneider

Griffon's Saddlebag has been a staple in my DnD games and I am thrilled to see their work now in Draw Steel!!

The Surly Bugbear

I'm excited to see Griffon's Saddlebag! please more! thanks you

Realm Referee

Amazing! I've purchased many an item from the Griffon for 5E. MOAR, plz. :)
