Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Ideas

1) Sword of the Fallen — While wielding this sword crafted from the bones of former adventurers, you deal additional necrotic damage when you hit a creature. When you land a killing blow with this weapon, you can hear the creature's final thoughts.

2) Cinderfall Veil — An ever-smoldering veil that grants fire resistance, conceals your identity, and those who try to discern it or your thoughts suffer fiery feedback. Additionally, you can shroud youself in ash and shadow and burn nearby enemies.

3) Tagelheart — A black bone tagelharpa with stylized hearts etched into it. You gain a bonus to Charisma (Performance) checks made with it and can detect the heartbeat of all creatures within range. You can expend charges for various effects, such as outlining creatures based on their intentions (i.e. hostile or friendly), casting the calm emotions spell, or engulf a target in sorrow which deals damage and frightens them.

4) Eternally Vain — Attuning to this ornate clamshell hand mirror increases your Charisma scores, and causes you to take on vampiric traits. You grow fangs that can be used to attack and can attempt to charm creatures.

5) Languishing Lantern — A shadow-filled lantern that when lit, extinguishes all nearby nonmagical flames. Creatures within the radius of the lantern that make a weapon attack that uses Strength deal half damage.

6) Fantasme — A magical rapier that can inflict a creature with the effects of the phantasmal killer spell when hit by it, dealing psychic damage instead of piercing.

7) Bitter Tears of Acheron — A polished silver censer that doesn't burn incense or give off smoke. When used, you can summon a torrential rain of blood-red underworld water, slowing fiends and burning them with radiant damage. Fiends that die to the rain risk being permanently killed, as if slain on their native plane.
