Misty lighthouse for #41! The first part of the painting is quick, wet into wet, but this technique is very forgiving as we lift and create texture over and over. We want to lean into the fuzzy blooming texture and avoid lines that are too hard. If any lines become too hard, lift them out using water and continue to tap with paper towel. I can't wait to see how you do with this one! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Paper: arches 140 lb cotton 9X12" paper that I've cut into 3X3" pieces, giving me 12 pieces per page.
Paint: For this project I am using a split primary palette- cad yellow deep, lemon yellow, cad red, perm. rose, ultramarine blue, cerulean, indigo and sap green. The colors I'm using today are - cad yellow, cerulean and indigo.
Brushes: round 4 & 10 - Princeton
