Wheat field for #59! A few areas of wet into wet as we build up texture, but most of the painting is all about splatter and perspective. I tried my best to create lines of splatter to get the lines in the wheat field, but maybe it was a happy accident to create lots of fine texture and paint the lines in later. Make bigger shapes in the front, bottom edge of the paper so that it looks like this is the point that's closest to you and everything gradually gets smaller toward the vanishing point. I can't wait to see how you do with this one! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Paper: arches 140 lb cotton 9X12" paper that I've cut into 3X3" pieces, giving me 12 pieces per page.

Paint: For this project I am using a split primary palette- cad yellow deep, lemon yellow, cad red, perm. rose, ultramarine blue, cerulean, indigo and sap green. The colors I'm using today are - cad yellow, cad red, and ultramarine blue

Brushes: round 4 & 10 - Princeton - 3/4 flat for smacking splatter
