Burnice - WIP 6 (Patreon)

Hi everyone, here is another update on the Burnice animation.For those of you who may have missed the last post, I spent most of last month mainly working on the OC but I've been gradually ramping up my work on the Burnice animation again since I want to try and release it pretty soon.Now that the rough work on all of the scenes are done, I've gone back and done a final round of corrections so I can move on to the last stretch of production. I've reworked a few of the cuts from the second scene because the transition from the first scene felt a bit jarring and the anatomy felt a bit wonky. I've also flipped a few of the cuts from the third scene to maintain consistancy with the BGs.Speaking of which, I've also done the rough sketches for all the backgrounds for the animation, as well as matched the camera movements to the animation. I've included the full video again in this post so you can see these changes.I've also just recently gotten started on the final animation. I want to try a new approach with this project. In the past, I would go through the animation and do all the cleanup and inbetweening, then I'd go back and do the lighting, and finally go back through again and do the coloring and backgrounds. While the cleanup, inbwetweening, and lighting are all big parts of the production, I feel like they are not all that visually exciting to see. As a result, I'm trying a new approach for this project where I'll do all those things cut by cut so you can see a fully colored, close-to-final-production version of the cuts with each progress update, which I think will be more exciting. I only managed to get one cut done for this update, but I'm planning to have multiple done for each WIP update moving forward.This has been my biggest project so far and I'm excited to finally be in the last stretch of production!
