Murph, Emily, and Jake gather 'round the Pac-fire to discuss several terrible episodes of the terrible 80's Pacman Cartoon! Is this the worst thing the 2 Crew has ever watched? ....Probably.

Kellyd

Oh hell yeah

Anthony Drake

Murph being this invested in a franchise I'd never associate with him is perfection. after hearing him talk about this on the livestream I'm so stoked to hear it!

Clever Innuendo

Well holy shit, I was looking for motivation to do my chores.

JustAce

Perfect timing Murph! I'm just about to get some work done.

Rain

God bless, I have a 2 hour drive after work today 🙌🙌

Deena Shirkool

Emily quoting Plato’s republic to explain the pac man side story is beautiful, thank you so much

Robert B

Murph’s “what the fuck?” after Emily says Plato’s Republic made me laugh so hard

Kellyd

Also the way Murph has been saying "welcome" on bonus episodes since Surprise Round started has been delightful

dryptid

naddpod best of the worst when

alli

i’m so ready for march sadness

Toblerone. jpg

omg the thanksgiving episode… somehow not surprising

MJMM

Emily brought up that people on Pacman were honing their craft to get to Scooby Doo. In Pac Van Winkle the voice for Adult Baby Pac is Frank Welker the classic voice of Fred.

Toblerone. jpg

Heathcliff! he needs to join the naddpod universe!

Joshua the Safoshua

I can't believe I had to watch 3 of these. I am here to share your suffering.

Cook

Do yall remember Uncle Majic?

Nicole Jordan

I just relistened to the 8bbc episode did I manifest this? (If so I’m deeply sorry)

CommodoreBlue

A good mixed bag would be ranking the 10 worst things in NADDPOD and 8BBC history. I really wanted to know more about the Thanksgiving episode though, lol

rosebramblewolf

So does the cat exist in Pac Man lore or not? Murph went on such a tangent he never confirmed or denied.

chlo!

unrelated: rescued a cat today and felt the spirit of the axford-murphy house within me

poppy marten

one important line that yall failed to mention in the pacnic (did they ever even say pacnic??) episode was the very last line, said by one of the ghosts, out of nowhere, and with no visual cue: “ouch, you stepped on my toe!” truly inspired script 🤌🏼

Thomas Hegarty

Emily I heckin love Omo!!! I love putting little bagel counters on all my lands and creatures!!

Declan Konesky

I mean Axmate. Or Murphmate. Jakemate is vulgar though

Blue Bee

I'm seeing double, 4 sharks!

Santa Grinch Hugging HumBaba and two Fairies

The lack of a Nose is what makes Sourpuss upsetting to look at i think. Pac Junior's voice sounded like Freddy from Scooby-Doo and just was unexplainably Jarring the Witch was upsetting because of the steritypical witch nose but also Miles Pac made a note of the Ghost Monsters being an opressive force where they come from which is just a wild implication since the Ghost Mosters are also the Natives

Hammy

I disavow Jake’s comments

Lauri Savilahti

I will not listen to this pacdog slander! It is up to Mr and Mrs pacman to train their dog

StarsPaw-Pawn

March Sadness is SUCH a great idea

StarsPaw-Pawn

No bad pac-dogs, just bad pac-owners!

Andrew Burgess

Murph also having pac man 2 and loving it like me due to a sort of desert island/ only game on earth situation was the birthday gift I needed.

Mr. Micholaus

I put on the Thanksgiving episode today and wow, it’s as bad as I feared it would be

I recently went down an old tv rabbit hole with aesop & son (a 4-6 minute skit show that's part of Rocky and Bullwinkle.) It's terrible in a fascinating way. So terrible. So fascinating. One example of an episode: a tom cat falls in love with a chicken and she wants to be with him too but she's allergic to cats so they can't be together. they each, unbeknownst to the other, get a potion from a wise owl they're told to drink at midnight. The cat turns into a rooster and the hen turns into a cat. the cat (now rooster) is thrilled that they can be together but the chicken (now cat) says "why would i want to date a chicken?" and we learn that the hen just disdained chickens and wanted to be above them while the cat was just attracted to chickens, so they're both happier now. the newly minted rooster gets to live with a bunch of chickens he finds hot. other insane episodes include: the rooster and five hens, son of the masked clock, the fox and the winking horse.

scarlet

looking at the writing credits, it looks like this show walked so Muppet Babies could run 4 years later so at least there's that

Anna Sun

The schtick of Jake being so nervous and thrown off when Murph makes him do the outro gets me every time without fail

Sam

30:40 This is why Dingo bit him in the goosebumps episode/real life

OminousOwl

Unrelated, got my spotify wrapped today and I'm in the top .5% of Emily listeners and she was my top artist of the year lol love yall so much!

Nesve Fowl

I would love a march sadness!

Clotilde

Have us vote! And include all of 8 Bit Bookclub archives 👹

Mountainwreath

top .005 % you gotta get those numbers up!

Georgia

two sharks - lemon demon

Michaela

This is the one!

CommodoreBlue

It’s time for March Sadness! Since you all probably don’t have the bandwidth to rewatch all the Mixed Bag and 8BBC stuff, you should just post a bracket with YouTube links to the videos and let us decide.

Rafi

The prediction that this would run away with March sadness coming true…

Hannah

The bit about the new husband and the dead ex returning being the plot of eternity

BurtMcKraken

Man this is the secret sauce to all the aside comments and jokes that I’ve been missing!

CommodoreBlue

Hearing Murph show off his Pac Man knowledge in City Council of Darkness was weirdly cathartic.
