For me, the confusing movies are The Prestige and The Illusionist. Released the same year, Edwardian era magicians, haven’t seen either. That said, I watched Now You See Me thinking I was watching one of those two and was very confused because it wasn’t the time period I was expecting 🤷‍♀️

I was thinking about Shakespearean sonnets, as you do, and I wanted to launch a defense--not of sonnets because I couldn't give 2 william shits about william's sonnets--but of meter. Shakespearean sonnets are written in iambic pentameter, which means the second syllable of each line is emphasized and there are five pairs of syllables. The opposite of iambic is trochaic, which just means the first syllable is emphasized, like: ` - `- ` - ` - ` - ` "But it's over now, come on and take a bow" The floyd song "another brick in the wall" kicks ass in trochaic: ` - ` - ` - ` - "We don't need no education" (meter of 4) ` - ` - ` - ` - ` - - ` "All in all you're just another brick in the wall" which absolutely rocks because it's like a fuck you to his teachers, strict trochaic until the end where he breaks the rules and the song is better for it, better because he broke those rules

As a librarian, we don’t really care if you burn cds! We respect patrons right to privacy and trust that they read our copyright warnings but there is no way we can check if you did that. One of my professors saw someone straight up scanning an entire book with our scanners and she just trusted that they read the sign not to do that and just went about her day. Annywhoooo

Honestly I feel the same way I love the short rests and the bonuses. Don't get me wrong I love the campaigns, but short rests and surprise rounds, it's like hangin out with friends, I have the playlists for the surprise rounds and 8bit book club and I constantly relisten to them. Samaras are in fact the type of seed that maples have ! Other trees have them too but maples are the only ones with the sick double-sided ones. Also I share Jake’s memories of sticking them on my nose as a child; my mom showed me how. Shoutout to trees.
