A few notes from a German speaker! Wurf (w pronounced like a v) means a toss/throw in german, so I feel like Wurph fits thematically with all the dice-tossing! And I don’t know if it’s spelled the same, but Bürgermeister is the German word for mayor! Literally translated, Bürger = resident, and Meister = Master/Chief/Foreman, so it’s pretty much just a job description as the title 😊

honestly the only thing i really consider canon in my mind for trinyvale are the original 22 episodes. everything after that exists as like mario series type canon. yeah you could technically put it in a timeline but enough is different between everything where you could consider it standalone.

Huge shoutout to Caldwell for the Blackadder reference — it’s a great parallel to the Triplets since Blackadder was also a very comically mean, conniving, status-obsessed fool of an anti-hero. It was one of my favorite shows in high school (which, being one of the many 27 year-olds in this comment section, was probably weird of me). The Regency season might be the best, but I must give an honorable mention to the codpiece Blackadder wears in the medieval season to “terrify the clergy.” Ooh, maybe Jens could steal a codpiece during the Strahd adventure. Any cursed codpieces on that list of haunted relics?
