how much more strahd is left dawg i’ve been bored for months on end and it just doesn’t look like it’s stopping. like i get trinyvale is funny and different from what usually happens but at a certain point early on the story gets so boring. and do we really need t x strahd for 5 months back to back. your telling me you guys can’t find any way to shorten it because it really shouldn’t take this long for curse of strahd

Im re-listening to the moonstone saga and I want everyone to know that Jens Lindel is NOT the first Jens in the naddpod shitiverse. In episode 27 moonshine summons an bunch of spirits in the form of euro clubbing (dancing) satyrs and one of them is named Jens. Caldwell, are the two Jens' related??

I am with you. And despite all the funny bits (and they were funny!), this was perhaps the least interesting episode in ages. Why would the DM get their players to fight for silly items instead of progressing the story in any meaningful way? The triplets are fun for a short story, horrible for longer forms.

Im not trying to hate or anything but sometimes it bothers me that Onyx feels like the main character. All the important npcs (ariana) and important storyline revolve around her and it feels like Jens and Nyack don’t actually have any impact or background in the story. And Ariana talking just to her to restore her and continue the story felt kinda odd.

My 2 cents: I get where you’re coming from, but it’s mainly because Emily is such an incredible role player and very invested player. DMs default to involving her in the story because they know it’ll be driven forward by her, and she takes copious notes of everything going on. Look at Skaldova or any of the other campaigns - she’s a major reason why the stories are as good as they are. Don’t get me wrong, Jake, Caldwell, and Murph all are great performers in their own right and Murph creates a great story, but Emily truly embraces her character. …that and it’s absolutely hilarious when Jens throws fits about not being the center of attention.

You really made me think about that differently. I feel like I understand better. Really appreciate u💕. And also thanks for not being like “oh you’re wrong!”, you explained well. even thought it seems small to some, you are the reason that I enjoy this community as much as i do and always have a smile on my face whenever I interact with everyone. I hope misfortune is few and far between and I wish you the best holiday season.

I think also Emily tends to “erase” herself at times? I feel like she is weary not to take too much space often and I can understand why DMs gravitate to give her more space because, like was said before, shes an incredible roleplayer & involves herself deeply in stories in a wonderful way
