I also have never seen a Magic Eye - but I have two different vision eyes (like one is almost 20/20 but is astigmatic and the other is just slightly short-sighted) and very bad depth perception so, I guess I'm a really smól dog

I have also never been able to see the Magic Eyes. I have a -11.0 prescription though so maybe astigmatism does just make it harder to see.

I had a cleric/druid whose shield really only served as her holy symbol (a gout of fire from cracked earth) since she was always the backline lmao. I think she got physically attacked maybe twice the whole campaign

There are 3D-images that are just two separate images and you have to get even more cross-eyed to see them, but at least you can tell wether you are getting close and if it's the right size and distance. Heard about magic eye and had to try it out. Took me a little but after I figured out the trick its was very easy. If you want to know how I did it, I slightly crossed my eyes over and over again, just kind of pushing them together, and then there was a depth I could see of the images. Kind of hard to explain but hope I helped. (Just googled “magic eye” and clicked the first link I saw and then started trying.)

As someone who did play a sword and board ancestral guardian barbarian (halfling so I couldn't use heavy weapons in the 2014 rules) for a few years, you don't have to be unarmored to use rage. You can wear medium armor and also use a shield and you literally don't lose any benefits, all that matters is that you aren't wearing heavy armor. If your gm gives you a good one-hander (like a flametongue) you really don't feel the loss of not using a heavy weapon and you can just absorb so much damage.

In this thread: Bowser's Wario could just be significantly more evil. Bowser is mostly a jealous, covetous and tyrannical dude who ultimately has no real plans beyond taking over the world. Wowzer could truly want to end all of existence or something. Next Paper Mario game???

Murph I play a war domain cleric/ shadow sorcerer and I have a shield with a base AC of 22 as a twin Casting healer that can shield of faith +shield to hit 29. The Mary Sue of the campaign. Shield and a fear also gives them evasion.

The issue with that is when smells hit a certain level they will start to effect your eyes and could still mess with your body

For magic eye, people would put the book right to their faces and then pull away slowly. I hated that so I just crossed my eyes and then uncrossed them slowly and it would come into focus. Emily or Jake if you finally get it, plz tell us! Haha

My character found a helm of brilliance in a dungeon :) My dm rolled for each of the gems and then immediately had to halve all of the values because it was way too much. For that reason I only rarely use the spells, but even just the fire resistance and extra fire damage on weapon attacks are super fun for my swashbuckler.

Astigmatism can affect your ability to see the Magic Eye images to varying degrees. My astigmatism is so severe I cannot see them at all

Contagion has always been good btw, I actually like the 2014 version better. It doesn’t do the damage but each ability score has its own additional thing like being blinded or vulnerability to damage

I’m with Murph - Magic Eye’s are easy. If one day just clicked (after REALLY trying to figure it out). Ever since then I have little trouble trouble solving them. 🤷
