I loved Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio. But I agree with Murph about knowing before hand it’s a musical, and especially that the only songs are sung by Pinnochio. As he is a young boy doll brought to life to appease an old father’s heart. He isn’t aware his singing is annoying, and not necessarily common for kids. Even Gepetto hates it in the film
