I'm always happy to hear y'all play and record, but I would really like to see you guys try a different system for a campaign some day. I think this really could have benefited from the systems Cyberpunk has to offer. I know learning a whole other ttrpg system can be a lot, especially in the realm of performance art, which I am sure you all are very comfortable both writing and doing improv within dnd; but a new system might really be good.

Man idk if I can continue this season gang. Murph is trying so hard to keep the setting sounding awesome and the whole concept is great and exciting, but those characters really dont feel like they fit at all and really take me out of it. Guess its from being right off the heels of a trinyvale and they still got it turned up to 11

I do get what you're saying and definitely felt the same way when they started completely derailing the sneaking in. But then I remembered how dumb S1 and S3 started and they're some of my favourites, so I'll probably stick it out. Come back in a month so it's got a few eps already out and see if it grows on you.

Don't get me wrong, i enjoy the silly, and I mostly like the characters, especially the way they introduced them as competent but whimsical. But then they managed to slip into a level of slapstick that didnt feel like it fit the vibe of the world and just wished they ratcheted it back a couple notches. I didn't make it past the scene outside the party before it gave me the ick and I had to stop, which is a shame because im really interested in the story murph is trying to tell....might have to come back and give it a try when im more in the mood for it I guess

Totally get having to recalibrate expectations of what the campaign is probably. I think you have got to remember that Murph is only one of four people at the table. They are all telling the story. There isn't a story Murph is "trying to tell." This is the story. Look back to episode one to how ridiculous their mentor was. That was all Murph.

It’s a collaborative show… which Murph literally edits 😭😭 Personally I’m into this podcast specifically because it’s a comedy podcast. Ok, two episodes in and I'm already hoping that this campaign proves to be so popular that Murph extends it to something the size of C1. I love all three of these characters so much! They all fit in the world really well, and fit together really well too. Also love that the trio start out really tight with each other. C1 they were strangers, C2 they were strangers, C3 they were coworkers but not close. Now in GONG they are actually a working crew from E1 forward. All of the voicing is good but extra kudos to whatever that accent is that Jake is doing for Aux (and just his general speech pattern - immediately endearing) and extra kudos as well for Caldwell for doing the best human-voiced Speak 'N Spell impression ever! Folks, the energy and flow of these forest two eps has been pure classic NADDPOD. While I love everything out of this patreon, the first 2 episodes of this campaign have been among the best done in a while. I'll happily keep coming back if they keep this up!
