Amanda Fowler

Very very late to the party, discovered this podcast not long ago and now I'm hooked and listen everyday! I just want to say I was moved when you described how when the time comes for moonshine she will turn into a spirit that guards that Forest. It truly was the cherry on top of a fantastically told story ark. 💜

Mariah K. Pixi

Best episode of ANY PODCAST EVER. Best DND storyline I've ever heard. Solidified Moonshine as my favorite character. Cannot fathom how Murph could have written it any better. 110%. FLOORED.

Mariah K. Pixi

Also Ive never loved a fight scene more than I love this one. It was so exciting and perfectly staked. Also also I cannot see Murph when Cob is talking - like that's Cob and he is real. Every time I hear his voice.

Kate Davis

Emily wanting them to all multiclass to the same thing has big "let's get matching tattoos" energy.

Hunter Biberos

We dont take long breaks only short rests

Witpending

2024 crew! It didn't make it into the short rest, but my favorite part was "You're not cursed. You were born this way."

Haley

Malora sounds hot

Whitney Hempsey

I’ve listened to C1 all the way through 3x and EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I’m bawling my eyes out the whole last 20 minutes. It’s such a beautiful story. I love how the Boobs can be total goofballs and still bring me to true emotional tears. A+++++

Laura Keiser

Wow, so utterly beautiful yall

Michael McDougall

We read the wind and the sky When the sun is high We sail the length of sea On the ocean breeze At night we name every star We know where we are We know who we are, who we are

Joshua Steiner

Dont be embarassed Emily! I literally teared up in my cubicle during that death scene and when Melora came to say hi ;__;

Kahl Gillispie

So I never cry. I literally haven’t for over a year, but when you explained that the gnome tricked Marabelle, I teared up 😭

Mell Wallis

This episode 😭 I loved it so much. Great story writing Murph, and great playing Band of Boobs 💖

Paddy Flynn

Great episode guys , congratulations on the marriage jake

Jacq Attack

OMG This episode was INCREDIBLE! Tears in my eyes from Marabelle's doomed apology. Also, hell yes the Moana soundtrack. I was literally listening to it as I was drawing last week!

Ricarda Wullenkord

I teared up for real several times this episode. Fucking awesome storytelling. It was so rad!

Xymel

Wow...just wow. I wish I could experience or replicate a moment like that in one of my games. Well done. The feels were real on this end.

Lea Schiller

I was straight up crying in my car during the flashback and the return to the tree with Marabelle's death. Amazing job Murphy 💖💖

Marisa

How dare you make me feel all these feelings right before I go to work ❤️

Tukaru

How dare you make me feel all these feeling at work ♥️

Tyler Board

Moonshine's walking around like she knows who her Mommas are

Emily

Ok, before I even listen to this short rest... Murph, you beautiful bastard! I legit shed a tear listening to this week’s ep. this morning! ❤️

Sebastian Paragallo

Far and away my favourite episode. Murph did such an absolutely amazing job with the story in this.

Dylan Biers

This is easily my favorite episode, also i don't know if this has been suggested but maybe you guys could do a long rest at the end of every arc, talking about the arc as a whole? Just an idea

Jesscat Voght

this was the first episode to make me cry..when moonshine met her god i was so inspired i couldn't stop myself from having a gentle sob

Alec Persaud

yall i tweeted at murph that his story made me shed real tears and he responded.... my life is over. loved this ep of the short rest, i'm glad moonshine has found some peace <3

Kourtney McCrary

Premo content. Definitely cried like everyone else.

Haven

JAKE WAS CONSIDERING THE COCONUT!! heck I love you guys

Jacob Hillman

Great episode! Very emotional and I laughed out loud many times. I hope you guys get to the point where this is your main gig and your "plugs" are side gigs. If I were you is great, but I get so excited when it's time for NADDPOD!

I just meant when I heard those words, I got sad because it was then that I realized she was coaxed into being evil. That made me truly sad because it’s a sad story of abused innocence. I realize my wording was terrible, so thank you for the comment!

Joshua Mullins

I really loved the part where Mawmaw said "You bow to no possum"

eggdrop soup

I'm listening years later but happy wedding Jake! Lol

Jeanne Tighe

Wicked storytelling, Murph. This was a stunner.

hannah says

I was listening to this on my commute to work and instead of listening to next episode I felt legally morally obligated to throw on the Moana soundtrack, and I’m so glad I did it really hits different sometimes

Cloudi

INCREDIBLE storytelling, I legit teared up

Brenden Ade

Just started binging the podcast. Absolutely had to become a Patron after this emotional roller coaster of an episode. Fantastic storyline creation.

Honor Burke

This episode made me so emotional that I forgot to check my mirrors and took the door handle off an Audi.

Eric Polk

OMG. Bad timing on my part listening to this episode. I was literally listening to the flashback on the way home from putting my 15 year old cat down. Still, fantastic job. I would have been hit in the feels anyway but at least I didn't have to explain to my wife I was crying over a D&D podcast.

Joshua Qualls

I legit teared up on this one. I found myself sitting in my car sobbing thinking “how ridiculous must this look, especially if I bothered to explain what made me cry.”

Jb

I was listening to this at work and everyone was asking if i was ok cause i was in the corner bawling like a baby

Beth N

That scene with Malora was beautiful!

Justin Williams

When you were describing the casino I thought you were describing something much later. I don't remember a casino at the pirate section

Andy Hellmuth

Feeling this one amazing job murph - and the boobs!

hell

can we just talk about "aw fuck its caldwell" – a+, 10/10, the most perfect energy to counter the good good boy of beverly :)

Scott

Great work all…murph…amazing

carissa cummings

The narrative was great. Hanging on the edge of my seat.

Karlee Reinig

Discovered the podcast not too long ago and this episode made me join the Patreon immediately. I had chills, I almost cried, such a great story!!
