The Seasonal Goblin

For a long time I thought he was saying "sweet Lou niño"

Daddy Dekaye

We are leaning hard into the Wiscussy and I’m loving it.

Dorian Doran

my heart goes out to the folks who skipped the outro segment and missed out on the origin story of blink-182’s take off your pants and jacket

CommodoreBlue

I really like the format of this ep. The old “getting the band back together” call is a brilliant was to start a new campaign. I might just steal that for my own campaign’s first session. Seems like a great way to around the table and get everyone invested at a good pace

Zaq Putnam

One of my favorite story arcs, so good, love all the characters.

Amira Larrick

I absolutely love these characters, and Lou is fantastic as always! So excited for this arc!

Camilla Jefferson

i turn 35 in 6 days and just now, thanks to this ep, got the pun in the title of that Blink album. tbc i was a greeb/skate park kid lol

Clio

Relistening to the Hexblood arc for the 1000000000th time

Compound27

With that ending I was waiting for someone to say "Fuck Caldwell, your in Lou!" jokingly of course

Lindsay B

Now listening to TOYPaJ again for the first time in years and honestly it's FULL of still-bangers

Tyler Whorff

"we're all off of Twitter" the world is healing

Summer Tribe

assonance Murph, not alliteration also them being all off Twitter only to support Meta instead is like a completely lateral move

Natane

Thank you 🙌

Terran Benedict

Can’t wait to find out what surprise character Cameron Diaz will be playing

Jon Davis

Oh my fucking god do I need this right now. Thank you Lou crew!

Frank

Hey ...psstt..... thanks

Kora la Bora

I have been counting down the minutes for this to post! Thank you Choo Choo Crew and Daddy Murph for putting out episodes in this crazy messed up world that is December 38, 2020

Ethan

LOU CREW UNITE!

Wyatte Copeland

I really needed this one tonight. Thank you, Lou Crew!

Darcy gibbons

I CANNOT WAIT to see the fan art for these characters

Mouse

listen the king being a meathead jock in a gothic fantasy is everything I ever wanted

I love Mike Buch

Having a black man on this podcast activates a new level of hype within myself

Vie.

God damn! I was near tears when Tarragon was failing saves and bo hopped in

Ganonbort

Massive deadeye vibes coming from Corbeau, I love it... And just the whole setup and design of the encounter *chefs kiss* A rose to you Brian Murphy and roses to all the pc’s. My only thorn is that Caldwell can’t be an elite monk

Terrence Jackson

Jake was so good in this episode and could tell Murph was loving corbeau. Lou fits in so well and Emily as always has such in depth characters. So excited for this

Ganonbort

Also, Emily sounds like she’s teetering between Canadian Sophia Lee and Brenda Elizabeth.

Tech Adept Crafts

First time I get to listen to an episode the day it comes out. I must say, I don't like waiting for the next episode. It was actually nice when I knew there was another one to listen to straight after I finished one. The downside of being all caught up...

Pork Chop

Love the new team. And thanks for the shout out at the end there Jake. Long live the onks!

Danny B.

Should this be "the campaign after the campaign after the campaign during the campaign"?

Katina

I'm not even halfway through the episode but if something happens to Lake I will turn the podcast around, so help me.

Saru

The mental image of Jabari excitedly doing high kicks is the funniest thing I've heard in weeks, shdhdjdjsj

Nanda

Murph continues to surprise with some of the coolest encounters this side of the Mississippi. And also the other side of the Mississippi

Draco

Okay, Emily and Brian. What would you think about stream WoW

Sand Panda

Alliance or Horde? Also how do you like the new expansion?

Steph

I love that we saw the prophet Kane (Cain?) back immediately tied back in with the ashes, how long have you been planning murph! Question, if they had ended up fighting, could the lou-crew have killed Kane?, would that mean that Henry and Zirk miss out on getting closure with him in their stories? Will the outcomes of this arc have immediate repercussions in the main campaign? Did you purposefully name Caldwell's last episode before his leave "until we meet again"?

Lizzy French

I love the plugging of WOW at the end, me and my bf have been going hard December and this month. Also, hate to point out this awkward mistake but I think Cameron Diaz forgot to unmute herself again 😬

Katie Watkins

This new adventure is going to be amazing! Are we ever going to have a cross over where these characters get to meet the Choo Choo Crew?!

Nesve Fowl

Holy Elder listened to it at the paper factory this morning. Love this new arc. Tremendous energy from Lou with Jabari which is my shit. Great work Lou Crew!!!

Joseph Maloy

This is my favorite first episode from all the campaigns so far! The imagery was great and it's insane how invested yall got me in one episode.

Sawyer Erstad

I want the final episode of this arc to have Caldwell come back and play the big bad

J. Marshall Smith

As a Jonathan myself, I am honored to be included as a notorious grifter

TallishCard643

Jesus fucking Christ Brian Murphy you make the most beautiful encounters😭

Joe

Jake is Joel Osteen lol

Jared Olson

Anthem Pt. II does indeed slap in the year of our lord 2021

Tom Edgerton

Wow thats was easily one of my favourite episodes of all time, i love these characters sooo much!!!

JSirvs

Each of Jake’s characters are better than the last

Dana A

Lou is the perfect addition to this group, his energy fits in SO well! and Jake was exceptional in this sode!!! I love this arc and every character immediately, I cannot wait for more!!

Sabrina Bernaby

THE MUSIC!!!! EMILY AXFORD YOU’VE OUT DONE YOURSELF!!!

Brian Jones

Oh man, I love Oops, All Monks. Jake playing the counterpoint was beautiful. Genuinely surprised me with that depth of character and story telling by Jake. New kind of character from you and I ABSOLUTELY want to see more of this from Jake. Em, beautiful as always! Your character development and depth in only a short amount of time is second to none. Lou, perfect fit in with these talented players. Look forward to how this arc plays out. Murph, inspiring as well with your creative storytelling and design. Loving all of this!

Bonky Fiasco

I was today years old when I realized that Take Off Your Pants and Jacket was a pun.

Britt Murphy

Truly love the LouCrew name for the players, but may I suggest HexBUDS for the PCs? XD Love this first ep!!

Turner Tush

This crew just makes me think of the Beatles after they broke up lmao I love it

Connor Noonan

“Role me 10 death saves!” I was like, oh no!!

Stephanie Karisny

Honestly surprised that Corbeau did not turn out to be canonically 6' 7.5" after Lou introduced Jabari. 🙂

I Had Something For This

Emily - where can I listen to these tracks and do I have your permission to use them for my home game???

Eric Irwin

Absolutely loved the episode!! This arc is gonna be so fun!

Rei

First concert, Blink 182!

Scott Hewson

Lou’s pronunciation sounds quite Japanese when he says Jabari (ジャバリ?) and it sounds great. My girlfriend is Japanese and she agreed (if that’s what he’s going for haha), great episode and loving everyone’s new characters!!

All Wen

The Hexbuds?

theGRAINGERzone

My ass is chapped by how on the edge of my seat I was listening to this encounter.. so dope, Daddy Murph! So freakin tense.. I loved it!

Garrett Morrow

Murph, you’re an absolute madman. I can only imagine the shock on the players faces as you revealed the death saves. What a power move.

SamBean

*looks at the music list and sees 'Starspawn'* This is going to be a good episode. Love that we could tell Tarragon's accent before she spoke because Emily took it on too. Jake's "wise words" were great. And Jabari is so off-puttingly exuberant in the best way.

MLEbug

So this is the campaign during the campaign after the campaign after the campaign, right? 🤣🤣🤣

Kian Ellis

Well they said that this new crew already had a big adventure years ago that leveled them up to where they are now, so that might even make this the campaign after the campaign during the campaign after the campaign after the campaign...

Albus

I wrote a quick simulation of the ritual to see how dangerous it was. Warnings spoilers for the episode at the top of the script: https://perlbanjo.com/f9ae4eef4f

Dante Roush

I love all three of these characters and the world of Eldermourne so much. This crew is amazing and I appreciate all the amazing adventures you all create!

MLEbug

I never noticed the innuendo in "Take off your pants and jacket"! 🤣

Sametc

Fuck yes!!! Mass migration to Instagram!!!!

Rachel

amazing first episode! i'm kinda dumb though and always miss parts when setting up lore/background - can someone explain why the sorceress would have said "the wicked trickster"? wouldn't a sorceress be the kind of person who loves and worships the trickster?

Mentalpop

He sure was Thirstin'. Thirstin' for BLOOD

Maddie

Fam, did anyone catch the “ashes of Arthur Penley”? Why is that name so familiar? So stoked to have Lou around. Brings a totally awesome energy to the podcast

Adam Haikal

Lou Wilson is correct, the new Avalanches album is great. Go listen to it.

Paul Llama

Quick shout-out to Murph for the quick thinking on the Help action: When Corvo gave a "motivational speech" to Taragon, instead of invalidating the Help action or prompting Corvo to so something else, Murph came up with another mechanical boon to help his ally. Very cool to see!

INFINITE

I'm here for Corvo McConaughey, that shit is hilarious lol

Jarvilar

I really enjoy this new side campaign,I think I like it more then the new main, you think we could just add Caldwell to this one and make this the new main campaign?

Karl N.

Incredible! Lou hype! I cannot wait for next week. Once again Lou plays an absolute king and I am here for it.

Harry

Amazing episode, damn do I love me some Lou! What a wild start to the arc 😶. Can't wait until the next episode.

Alex Walton

Lou has that same fun manic energy that Caldwell has, he's great and a great complement to your group.

Tony Mitchell

Brian you are truly one of the best DMs...your world build is so inspirational!

Hamish

Amazing bravo

Thruhiker

Not saying I'm happy Caldwell is not in this arc, but a little sad that Lou is only a short-term player. PLEASE find a way to make Jabari full-time!

Bryce Baker

This episode really felt like old-school NADDPOD, so much fun and banter. Lou just rocked this out of the park

Carrie Copa

Lou is a gem, I love his energy and hope there's a way he can continue on the podcast!

Ursa

if Emily is into mmos, final fantasy 14 is a really good one. it's super narrative heavy, definitely a great story ^-^ also I'm beginning to question if Jake knows that blink182 has good music that's newer.

Burnt Lemon

Tarragon's voice has me picturing Sarah Paulson as a monk haha

nonya bizness

I absolutely love Jabari so much. I miss Caldwell but what a great way to spend his absence while he works on daddy duty. ♥️
