Attacking a prone ccreature with a ranged weapon does give you disadvantage, but attacking an incapacitated creature gives you advantage, so the two would cancel out. But ultimately I imagine the king would get cover, maybe even 3/4 cover, so I think having him roll with disadvantage was still not that different for what the odds probably woulda been.

Hello from wish list pitch 2026. Shel B here asking once again for us to revisit the concept of the hexbuds plus Caldwells monk. I would love a revisit to them continuing their adventures and meeting a new or a previously thought to be fallen hexbuddy. OR having a Bahumia x Trinyvale esque experience for next fall with Caldwell DMing the triplets accidentally winding up in eldermourne and in the lap of Jabari. I need to see Jabari with the triplets. Please Duncle!

For what Emily said about the monk thing I feel like it makes a lot of sense thematically too because Tarragon isn’t fully back into being a hexblood and therefore a monk until the end of the episode when they all agree to follow the hexblood way again so she’s using her newfound abilities for peace rather than her inner dragon

Awesome episode!!!! I do enjoy the hit-by-hit even with the weenies, especially when people are low on hp. There was a lot of suspense seeing if each archer hit as the party was running away, But trust your discretion and excited to see what's coming next!

I'm going to be sad when Lou's time here is over and it goes back to the main campagin. That said, when does Beardsley get their cameo on NADDPOD? You can't leave them out after you've had literally every other intrepid hero member on.

They're too powerful. After their cameo there will be four gods in Eldermourne because they created another one, so I think Murph needs to figure out to have them as a guest without them straight-up killing the Reaper or something

They'll roll like 4 nat 20's and completely break the campaign and, by extension, the podcast. The planning must be careful and precise.

Lou really has lived up to the hype I’ve built after wanting him on the podcast for so long. Murph, another masterful story. It’s apparent how much work you put in to making NADDpod as great as it is. Emily, your characters are always so creative and hilarious. You are just fantastic and the glue that keeps parties together. Jake, my man, you sneak in the funniest one liners at the best moments. Your comedic talent is fucking awesome and you don’t give yourself enough credit. Just wanted to say sometbing bc Naddpod has helped me so much while studying for the bar exam during this awful year haha. I look forward to it every week, thanks!

I am excited for Caldwell to return but I really hope Lou can come back more often and maybe play a roll in the main Eldermourne story. Having all four on might be a recipe for the best arc ever.

I had the exact same thought, I didn't see it as a mistake, I thought it was beautiful acting and sticking to the character! Honestly, I can't get over how beautiful this whole group is together. All of them are pure geniuses and lovely to listen to.
