am i the only one that feels that this is the equivalent of the Nannerfly Effect episode in Campaign 1?

This is a strange episode for me to realize what a truly lovely speaking voice Murph has lol, but I found myself absolutely taken with the way he delivered lore, so much so that even Olwen's vintage whine couldn't sour me. Bravo haha

Interestingly enough, wine does preserve fairly well and we see examples of it mostly coming from Asian countries where temples will have clay sealed jugs of wine. I believe just last year a wine in few thousands of years ( I think like 9-10,000 years old) was found and still contained alcohol and was still liquid. I’m not entirely sure on safety to drink, but from what I understand it is semi safe to consume in small quantities. There has also been some examples in Egypt and the Mediterranean but these tend to be in much fewer supply and not near as old. All of this to say wine in and of itself is magical and can last if preserved correctly :)). Also not a somm but a huge history nerd so if any somms know more please @ me!!

emily lamenting all season about wanting an opportunity to try all the wizard spells and how she has all the lv1-3 spells memorized just for murph to come in with a fresh stack of spells for her is actually the greatest love language of all, true love is in fact real, no notes roll credits thats a wrap everyone

oh my GOD, extremely late to the party but the worldbuilding lore drop here is fucking incredible, i'm completely obsessed with the concept of a world fully abandoned by its gods and yet still suffering the effects of their actions. y'all's storytelling is so insanely good, it makes me itch to get back into writing. also unironically love olwen, he would be so annoying irl but he's SO fun as a character and i was super happy to see him make a reappearance.

1: Olwen might be my favorite NPC Murph has ever made. I desperately want to draw him 2: HOLY LORE DUMP. What a phenomenal episode! The world building is so fucking cool I was literally yelling to myself on my drive home as I listened about how fucking cool this episode is! 3: the reunion of the two groups was very good and I’m so glad we got to see it. This might be my favorite episode of the Campaign. Fucking phenomenal work, Murph 👏👏

I am obsessed about the way Murph does lore dumps and how he handles the lore in eldermourne. From episode one we are told this story is about the reaper and the trickster battling each other but now this!!! Oh I love secrets and not giving ur PC all the informations. I'm not sure which SR episodes, but a couple of times Murph has said that Eldermourne was going to end around 50 episodes. Once he said as high as 75, but he had also mentioned as low as 30 (even though we are past that now).

Murph, you absolute genius. This story is beautiful and complicated and intricate and still unique! What in the hell? You created a compelling story while managing your players improv and keeping them moving forward. Em, Caldwell, and Jake are improvising fun and hilarious dialogue while creating dramatic and poignant scenes. This was an amazing episode.

just got to this episode after my vaccine and i laughed so hard it hurt my arm... murph's world building (and npcs!) continues to dazzle every time, and em, jake, and caldwell just play off each other so well! i loved when the two crews (ha!) finally met and kept chatting and forgetting their issac. loving this campaign so much, thanks for all your heart work~ also whenever jake and murph shout-out fall out boy (and my chemical romance!), the 15 year old girl-child in me (and to be honest, my 26-year old current form) bursts out in happiness and sings along.

Sorta fun parallel I saw, Fia trying to use Green Flame Blade on those frozen in this episode reminded me a bit of Moonshine trying to use Produce flame to thaw Beverlin and Moonwon but being stoped by Cran in one of the Campaign 1 episodes early in the Fey Wild.
