god i KNEW lou comes back this ep with jabari but in the first 15min of the ep i was so wrapped in irina's change and fia's reunion with bukvar that i fucking forgot so i GOT TO BE ALL FRESHLY HYPE ALL OVER AGAIN!¡!!!! and also not even putting lou in the title to make it an extra surprise?!?!?! fucking awesome choice god i just i fucking LOVE the diff chars and parties we get throughout eldermourne, the chanfe in pov and the simultaneous battles make it SO cinematic and SO FUCKING COOL!!!

god what a fucking ending, i can picture the montage perfectly intercut with closeups of newspapers catching us up with npcs from all over rapid fire roses bc otherwise i'd be writing a 10k essay 🌹 zirk getting inspo from his friends to figure out the revivify spell 🌹em's gut punching performance as fia making me - and from the sounds of it, caldwell and maybe others - immediately burst into tears along with her 🌹corbeau tanking like an absolute fucking champ 🌹jabari's speech LOL 🌹the reaper and the tricksters being replaced by the great librarian bukvar, which btw is SUCH a fucking great concept for an afterlife and so fucking beautiful and pragmatic and wholesome eldermourne is truly such a fucking special campaign, you all told such an incredibly beautiful story, and at least to me part of the uniqueness is absolutely having multiple pcs and cutting between povs. if ever there's an opportunity to do it again in the future god i would LOVE to see it thank you all so so SO much for creating such wonderful stories!!!! naddpod reminds me that comedy and good stories genuinely have the power to change the world, yall carry the spirit of humanity in your characters and stories 💖

These last few eps have been some peak storytelling from Murph. I’m really relishing this relisten. The joy you can hear in his shitty trickster tween characters translates in the joy he takes in the gameplay giving the players a whomping…. It’s irresistible! Meanwhile he’s twisting multiple beautiful tales of human growth and friendship!? It’s really beautiful and so fun and so funny. Murph is masterful!

this was an absolute masterpiece of storytelling, there were so many incredible moments and the parallel battles happening at the same time was so cool (and must have been so much to keep track of), but one of the moments that really surprised me and was so touching was the scene with emily as taragon at the end - it would be so easy to just dismiss heredecia as an evil defeated, but the choice to recognize that she was once good and had a reason for starting down the path she did was just. wow. i love when stories recognize moral complexity, and emily has a real knack for characters that make the compassionate choice even when it's the hardest one to make. the scene here with taragon and heredecia reminds me a lot of the one with moonshine and marabelle. just a whole rose garden for this story and its ending 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💕💕💕💕💕

Gonna try to keep it general to avoid spoiling at first glance, but please don’t read if you haven’t finished the episode. I’ve listened to this like 5 times now and it’s the best piece of DnD media I’ve experienced. Time code: 2:18:10 I can’t express enough how much I love the role playing as Fía and Hank after the roll, fía lashing out at him so angry at him making the selfless choice in such a real raw way of expressing the immediate survivors guilt, and then Hank, having learned his lesson from earlier mistakes, telling Zirk what he needs to hear in that moment. “It’s ok buddy…” instant tears, it’s just such potent and true and arghhh I’m at work right now I can’t be crying again

I don't know if anybody's pointed this out yet but Caldwell is so unlucky, to just outright beat the arcana checks he had a 51% chance to be on his first set of rolls and an 80% chance to beat it on his second set meaning that he had about a 92% chance to save her insane

Hank jr and Irina joining them at the end was so wholesome. I love love loved this 💕 Eldermourne means something so deep to me that words can't describe. Dear NadGods. I have been really pushed time wise lately and I wanted to wait till I could focus and enjoy the final epp. Just finished listening last night. Thank you so much for such a brilliant campaign 2. Distinct and different from 1 and absolutely engaging, touching and, of course very funny. This final EPP was exactly the right amount of epic, not epic explosion and battle of the gods but internal battles with fragile humans. I loved it. Lou was a genius inclusion. I loved the positive energy he brought with Jabari! His role playing and comedy are amazing but the child like joy his character brought was exactly the right counterpoint. All did amazing work ballancing so much but Murph, I mean come on! Masterclass in creating a space for collaboration. You gently guided that so it was truly a manifestation of all the creative input and at the end it came together in a way that felt so right and satisfying. And at the song at the end I shed a very unexpected tear. Thank you all ♥️

Wow wow wow so many feelings, the classic Caldwell roles had me absolutely screaming and crying and Emily's roleplaying and singing were so beautiful as always 😭 amazing Jake pep talks and fantastic storytelling by Murph and freaking Lou playing Jabari was an absolute treat I loved every second of this campaign. I was worried after the first campaign ended that they wouldn't be able to capture the magic again, as I feel has happened to some of the other DND podcasts I listen to, but EVERY new group of characters they roll are amazing and I love them all so much. I'm really excited to start the next campaign and meet more of them well done guys 🥰
