The leftovers got hidden around another friend's room and just popped up on a weekly basis forever. The last one got found during the NEXT school year in a box of cold medicine that got moved out of the dorm and then back in....

I know I'm like 3 years late to this comment but oh my god, barbarian/rouge is my absolute favorite multiclass. Both classes on their own are great but dipping even a level or two into either is just so incredible. They compliment each other so we'll for not sharing any saving throws, and when you take a dip into one you are so tempted to keep on putting levels into it. Even if you were, just as an example, primarily a barbarian, rouge levels feel SO good. Like, you get advantage on dexterity saves after level 2 of barbarian, if you eventually get high enough level that you can get rouge to level 7 with however many barbarian levels you may have you can just start tanking even better with evasion. Hell, even level 5 rouge makes you an insane tank with uncanny dodge as a reaction. Even a one level dip into rouge is insane because you can get expertise in athletics and become a grappling maniac! And rouge dipping into barbarian, you can take more hits, you can get even better with dex saves aiding your rouge abilities even more, and potentially get even better AC from unarormed defense depending on how you're built! I've seen this pairing compared to action movie heroes or, depending on how you frame/build the character, the killers in thrillers, and it's insanely acurate. Such an insane pairing, even if it can be a bit difficult to build mechanically. It just gives you a lot of power in a fight, and it's very rewarding to play out.

I made a bunch of different builds to play around with for my group's next campaign, and one was a shifter (can't remember which sub race) path of the beast barbarian. I wound up going with a ratatosk (tradvakt) path of the world tree barbarian, since I find the idea of a size small squirrel-folk as a barbarian to be delightful! I'm keeping the shifter barbarian build around in hopes I can play with it in the future!

Two levels of paladin makes College of Swords Bard perfect, it’s my favourite build! You can heal and buff/debuff and inspire, but also go into melee and wreck house with smites using the bard’s spell progression

It's fun, but it's also the go-to sorcerer class and we've played it before off mic. We also did a season of D20 where the entire story was built around it, plus the mechanics of R. Cane were built around it. We've kind of exhausted the wild magic surge table between the two shows imo. - Murph

An idea for the new campaign based on the talk of characters in the end: It would be funny to see everyone play against their type, jake is spellcaster, emily is melee and i guess caldwell just is not silly at all. Then, like the new suicide squad, just let everyone die in the first episode and introduce the real characters after.

I recently played an ancestral barb/ soulknife in a extended one shot that our dm absolutely hated. Just hid behind a rock and threw mind blades at a dragon and gave everyone resistance to everything. It’s not the most exciting for big moments but it was fun to play.

Man. You have to let Caldwell play a Full Caster for once. I’ve always thought Conjuration Wizard would be a great one for him. Just having the ability to summon a copy of any non-magical item you can think of, as well as all of the great new summoning spells they added with Tasha’s would serve his creative instincts really well. Also agree with Emily that Sorcerer subclasses are kind of underwhelming. I think they’ve started to go in the right direction with the newest ones, but all the old ones are so lacklustre, especially at higher levels, but sharing a casting attribute with 3 other classes makes them pretty good for multiclassing.

Emily, in an Arcadia Magazine, there was a sorcerer subclass based on Titan Heart, and when you use sorc points, you can get beefy and large and be useful in melee too. Just cause I see you like combining melee+ranged, spells and swords. Sorcadin with titan heart would be dope.

I love the idea of Caldwell just playing a straight up tiger (with player stats) how creative! I think that there could be plenty of possibilities and explanations that may reveal themselves over the course of the story as to why he is a sort of sentient tiger, and what happened lol. I played a Tarzan like druid once that had a modified sticks to snakes spell. We found ourselves in some kind of jurassic park like science lab and through some wandering the party found My best friends character (had just gotten off work), a cave man frozen in some ice. We thawed him out and he played him very skeptical of the party. At some point, the party was trapped because of tigers. Caveman and I both got nat 20s on our animal handling/nature checks to tame tigers and that's how our characters became friends as well lol. My DM literally squashed my druid further into the story line, so I asked if I could essentially continue in the story as the tiger. Alas, to no avail :(

They should all check the Tasha's Cauldron sourcebook. So many cool classes. Could see Jake as a Rune Knight for sure. They have more sorcerer classes and Druid (which I think is where path of the beast came from)

I like the way Zirk's relationship with his mum ended and personally wouldn't want them to reconcile. Sometimes there is no redemption. Some of us want nothing to do with our mothers. I also really liked the complex feelings Fia had for her dad. There is that childish love that she has for him, but its at war with her pain and anger over everything he did to her. Deep down there is a part of her that is still that little girl, his little girl, that he raised, that he betrayed. Basically, as an abused child I really loved the representation of these complex feelings and relationships. Thank you.
