"use your tongue use your mouth take the opponent down south" what do you mean by that 😭

Samantha Pribble

“I’ll be honest, I still don’t have pass without trace because I took feather fall which I thought was funny because of the duck.” The funniest thing Emily Alford has ever said.

The Fun Yaunt

Caldwell pronouncing visage like Michelle Visage never ceases to delight me 😂

zoe cosplayed moonshine!

hell yeah bowdrilling mentioned! as someone who can bowdrill, it’s not easy to pick up, sorry caldwell

St.Christopher Coming to Town

Theater of the mind also makes monks tough since distances are a little more fluid so you dont know when your movement skills are gonna be needed.

Mad Dungeon Mama

First! Woohoo! Ready to tackle chores tomorrow now with this awesomeness!

Samual brewis

Uh is it by chance not working for anyone else?

Parrot Paramour

So early the download don't work 😭. I'll grab it in the morning and love every second

Marianne

It's not working for me, either. :-(

Vashguard

It doesn't seem to be working

Diana

Having issues downloading too :(

Samual brewis

Oh thank God it's not just me I had a moment of panic lol

Samual brewis

Oh well back to elden ring for alittle while!

Carli Stewart

Yep, I'm also having issues downloading the episode.

Taleisha G

Not working on Patreon or Apple podcasts :(

Jori Strack

I am also having trouble playing and downloading the episode.

Oliver Dawes

Same issue. "Download unsuccessful"

Robert Lopez

Oh noo... Our episode.... It's broken! 😭

evan deas

not working on google podcast either :(

Mr E Bones

YAY NEW EP IM FUCKING STOKED

Carli Stewart

I was able to download the episode & the short rest finally 🙂

Dominic Stacey

Just sent an amazon package to you guys, I thought Emily would appreciate the new power rangers core rulebook tabletop game

Zeke10n

I think Caldwell didn’t do as many attacks as he could have during the battle cause he has bonus action attacks and haste so he has at least 4 attacks a round.

Anthony Paepcke

The music for the psi-campus is so good! Sounds great, very spooky, perfectly tailored to this setting. What kind of instrument is playing?

Martin

Yes Sol definitely missed doing one-two attack each round… probably because it’s been a bit since they last played!

Justin Liller

The Unranked is such a good team name.

Justin Cockrell

I think a one shot where Albi and Gilear from D20 just… idk.. attempt to go to the mall together would be the best thing ever.

Axel Ottel

The fight in the church really highlights the dynamic of Duck Team which I absolutely love. We're still early on but so far this campaign feels like the absolute best possible evolution of all the campaigns before! And Calli freezing in horror as she was mocked I felt that. Great moment!

Joseph Goldstein

The third eye blind joke was right there you guys! Come on now! Love the ep. Keep up the good work.

Olivia Hill

An excellent strat to a Friday morning ☺️

Noah Jay

Props to Emily for asking to "see his stick" multiple times without breaking. I kept waiting for the meltdown 🤣

Arwyn Robinson

I absolutely love Calder. He's the best most supportive friend to Calli. 😭

Grace Franklyn

Still not working on overcast for me, even after deleted and redownloading the RSS link :( not a huge deal, the short rest works for some reason, just wanted to let y’all know!

Tim

The Albi stuff is so great this episode. I love how he cast Haste by saying like stupid fake Latin words and how they’ve continued this bit about the books and a return to the Launchpad Academy.

Mackenzie Camey

I can’t get over how much Sol sounds like Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon 😅 but I’m so happy with all of it ❤️

King Rob

Amazing episode! With haste was Sol supposed to have an extra attack? Either way loved it lol

The Great Zarquon

I feel like Albi is becoming this campaign's Balnor and I'm so here for it

Sam

I know Caldwell is still learning monk, but hopefully he learns how many attacks he has! With second attack, haste, and flurry, he could hit 5 times but he only swung 3. Then again, if he ever learns the overly buff frog will be more than just flavor!

William Bowen

I have no clue why Kalder dislikes Albin so much but it always makes me laugh so hard.

Not Another D&D Podcast

Lol I definitely realized I could have attacked more times like INSTANTLY after this battle. I think I'm still shaking off the cobwebs of being an Artificer. One day I'll live up to this Hot Frog's potential! ~Caldwell

Chad Murray

Anyone else still unable to download it? I’m using Overcast and still getting the “not found” error.

The Wizard Skoolie

Love the "spoilers" bit. It's so funny every time when Sol and Albin are like "just seems like we should be able to talk about our lives"

The Wizard Skoolie

Theory(ish): the launchpad academy was farming content for their book series by putting all the students through "adventures"

Alison R

Has anyone else been reminded of red rising when listening to the recap?

Brenna C

Anyone else getting a file not found error message on their podcast apps? The short rest downloaded fine, but not this

Brenna C

Tried deleting and adding the feed again and it's still saying download failed:not found. I'm using overcast if that changes anything

Joshua Heyes

We need a regular character with the gargoyle voice, amazing

Not Another D&D Podcast

Looking at some other comments it seems like it might be an Overcast issue! If you've got a backup podcast app I'd suggest using that one until the problem is solved. ~Caldwell

Justin Mitchell

Anyone else get goodweird feels from Em's signoff? Like...who me? "sweeties"?! *swoon*

Obed Pacheco

Bahumia now has a "bad bunny" of it's own...this had me laughing so hard and am so looking forward to the next ep!!!

Nia R

I love jake’s character so much this season!!!! He’s so funny in an understated way. Also, big Brennan energy with bad bunny! Love love LOVE this episode!

Owen Rath

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned yet, but Calder’s sounds like Jake doing a Batman impression

Clairodactyl

I am loving this campaign so much already! Callie is so awesome - I really liked the bit where her diary was being read out! Listening to this show on a Saturday morning is such a great way to start the weekend. Thank you all!!

Aspen

emily’s embodiment of her characters once again being god tier, making mechanically disadvantageous choices bc the character would absolutely be doing that, I love how comfortable these players are making narrative moments happen like that, it enriches the story so much!

Daniel Soto

Wow listening to the support when Callie's journal was read made me start tearing up on a plane 😅. Love this crew and their dynamics

foster the boneless duck

legit never felt so mad at murph as when he read that diary entry 😂 (not actually, i loved it and knew they would have talked about it but i was just relating to that shame so hard)

Harrison

Getting some serious Rock Lee vibes from Sol

Unloved

Excellent plug Emily! 144 hours to beat it and still have more to do. Great game

Jamjam

this episode was fantastic! great pacing, awesome descriptions, really cinematic. Emily, I love love LOVE the character choices you made for Callie and the way it played out!

Joe D’Antonio

I have seen a bunch of things asking what makes Emily such a good player and I think this episode shows it. Making moves that are “sub-optimal” from a pure strategy perspective but are so powerful for the story. Incredible episode.

Bandanno

Emily I love the soundtrack for this episode! They're always good but the psionics background really stood out to me.

JD

It's a social media site focused on business stuff.
