Truly the most intense episode I’ve listened to yet. The way that Daddy Murphy set up the whole environment was deeply cinematic. The combat intensity from Jake and Calder with Queen Umberspore was amazing. Queen Axfords role play was truly undeniable. I was blown away and holding on to the edge of my seat.

i did cry when callie was talking to the serpent like a parent talking to a baby, made my heart soar <3

Matt Davis

This episode slapped so hard. The back half felt like something like Return of the Jedi, with the cuts between the climactic battle and the intense quiet confrontation with the villain - this was so good.

Clever Innuendo

I was coming back into this thinking the Glen reveal was coming early; that sudden blast of Shiverblight gushing about volcanoes instead was too good.

i am a smapphire

THICC SODE WOW THE GLEN REVEAL IM SHOOK, BLESSED TO EXPERIENCE THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME - CANT WAIT TO COME BACK ON MY NEXT RELISTEN

LS

Bro even I would feel special if Glen had given me attention heuhhdh no wonder

diintz

would really appreciate a misophonia warning on the gum chewing at 25:15 😭😓

ChungleDownBingus

Would love to see the fan art of Bumpy animorphing into different animals with bowl cuts

Zel

this whole episode was awesome, but the scene with calliope and the serpent legitimately brought me to tears. making the choice to start what very easily could have been a more or less instantly lethal fight with that calm determination and then being the grounding point for this young and terrifyingly powerful creature out of its mind with fear and pain just. incredible. i dont even have the words.

Keath

Perfect timing Murph I was just about to get to bed.

Cj Ferrigno

Hey, upload by 2! Hope Murph gets some sleep tonight.

Its_Ven

gn murph! Hope you get some rest after this upload :D

Cody W

Shakespearmint

My 4 tickets to the live show in Nashville, which I've just blearily purchased at 4am bc that's when I read this and have the least self control, cost $222 after tax.. shout out to the 2 crew

Ayn Like Ryan

This ep was truly one of the best. Everything from prep to editing (Murph) roleplaying (everyone) and the sick storyline, I hated having to pause this to talk to customers at my job

J. Marshall Smith

Woo! Love to hear a shout out for The Beguiling.

Sarah Sullivan

Was it just me who thought Glen was spelled with two N’s 🤣

Joshua Jacobs

This will be the best Short Rest episode since we all took a trip, to a little place, called Mangia’s.

Martian

Oh if given the chance yiu better tall Sol

Nick Neverman

So are the Fey dragons going to be Linnorms? Because that rules

Jonathan H.

I don’t tend to comment a lot, but geez…. This ep was an all-timer. Awesome job y’all

Jack Farley

What an ep! The Glen reveal was crazy! Super excited for this short rest!!

Ellie

Omg! Great job everyone! ❤️

joel

This was nearly perfect - if only it was a little thiccer. I laughed, I held my breath, and I felt like Jake when he said he wanted to pass his turn to listen to more of Emily's scene with Glen. What an ep.

Emma

Truly amazing! Emily had me holding my breath!! 🐉

atlasrising

I have no idea if Murph even looks at these comments but: I am in awe of your storytelling, narrative crafting, encounter crafting and character building. This was both delight and agony to listen to because I was so invested and scared of things tipping the knife's edge from beautiful chaos into beautiful destruction, and our heroes losing more than they bargained for. Truly a masterclass, I hope to be half the creative you are one day! Probably one of my favourite episodes ever

Hue

Truly would lose it if Glen turns out to be some one off Petri down the line.

surprise slug

an incredible episode all around: perfect narrative structure, great mechanics, funny bits, and lots of emily being cool (my fave)! i hope murph can get some sleep! i get so stressed seeing how late these eps post, hope y’all aren’t working yourselves too hard!

surprise slug

oh also murph’s glen voice ruled

Wesley Marshall

After marathoning the main campaigns since May of last year (including short rests) I’m finally caught up with the main feed. Need to go back and do Trinyvale and Hot Boy Summer but I only have so many spoons. This has been such a joy to listen to, you are all so great and always bring a smile to my face and the occasional out of nowhere why I’m crying so hard to my eyes. Keep it up!

Crits

Murph you’re a goddamn genius

Elisha

Best episode so far this was sick

Kelley

SUCH a good episode! Thank you all!

Geraint

Emily fucking rules

Black jeezez

Is the council of elders trying to get Murphy to say I’m not a little piss boy??😂😂😂

K

One of my favorite things about this episode is when Caldur and Saul were rolling dex saves and kept rolling 3 and 6. I'm reminded of the warcraft movie mixed bag where they described how the fight scenes are hahaha 😂

Deebo

Crick music is 🔥🔥🔥. Great ep y’all

Ligilos

lol I see what you did there

Emily Wall

Possibly my favorite episode ever 😭 amazing!

Penny Garbo

I truly don't know how you guys do it. Every episode has been amazing and just when I think I have a faverite, you top it. Highlight of my week is listening to this show.

Nicole Jordan

Such a good ep. I literally kept saying sick out loud and gasping I was on the edge of my seat

SnugglesaurusRexx

Such a good episode!! That cliffhanger! Also, when Sol does the spectral visage whispers I just think of "hey lil mama lemme whisper in your ear"

Nitzan Harel

What a masterpiece! Amazing twist with Glen, never would have seen it coming!

Carmen Scott

truly one of the best episodes of any d&d show that I’ve listened to. it absolutely sucked.

Tyler

This was such a fantastic episode, and I just wanted to say the way Emily builds and plays her characters always makes for some of the best moments I've ever heard/experienced in D&D. Can't wait for this week's episode!

Megan

glen's voice made me think of hot boy summer ahahah XD

ptak_sobie

This is a strong contender for best episode of C3, and one of the best episodes ever. Also -- Venemal's Menemals

Squibbles

FULL BODY CHILLS at Callie and Glen's scenes at the end. Damn <3

Kaileigh Rose

This episode was soooo good. I was in tears towards the end if im being honest. Absolutely amazing episode. I'm so happy to be almost caught up.
