TheLonelyKidd

SPELL CHECK MIXED BAG OR THE PATREON RIOTS

Eric Keller

Yes please more Spell Check. 🙏

Nick Lerche

Spell check absolutely almost enraptured me . I'd definitely think about tivoing it.

Sean Groff

Spell check is sweeping the nation.

Caddy Wampus

I do not want a spell check mixed bag because I'm not subscribed at the mixed bag tier and I would be soooo sad to miss out! It's so much fun to play along and see if I can guess before y'all.

Prowsy

Yes please on Spellcheck. Positively swept.

Olivia

My nation? Swept. Spell Check is great!

Sydney

Spellcheck mixed bag 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

ASHNRider

Absolutely love spellcheck

Spencer

I think Spell Check is great but I don’t think it can hold a whole episode. It could work wonderfully as a single category/mini-game in a larger game show! Maybe as a DND jeopardy column or a bonus point opportunity for another campaign trivia competition.

Cienna

Absolutely obsessed with Spell Check please keep doing it

Jason Church

Spellcheck was honestly great

Hannah Roark

Confirming rn spell check will be what finally pushes me to upgrade to the mixed bag tier

David Lipscomb

That's a big check on the Spell Check

Matthew Lewis

Spell Check is absolutely sweeping the nation!

Dijonna Terry

I want more Spell Check please. I've heard it's kinda sweeping the nation.

Oliver Denny

I will genuinely up my patreon tier to get nixed bag for more spell check

🌹Rose Budd

I've been swept by Spell Check and I crave more

Abraham

I enjoy the chaotic energy of spell check

Stansky

Yes to Spell Check, but I need two additional rules: Brennan can't play Spell Check, but Brennan must silently watch every game of Spell Check from the sidelines.

Ryan

I’d listen to an episode of Spell Check!!

Marin Wilson

My broke ass might upgrade to mixed bag tier for more Spell Check.

Muse93

Please do more Spell Check

K

Yall should name the double jeapordy round for Spell Check "Twinned Spell"

AlmostButter

Spellcheck mixed bag please!!!

Excelsidorks!

Lol this game needs to be a mixed bag series, theres just too many wild components out there

happylinlin00

i already cast my vote in support of spell check, but thinking on it, it's possible that part of what makes it so fun is doing it in between court cases XD i think it's def worth recording a pilot to see how it goes as a full ep though!

Del

Spellcheck mixed bag absolutely! It’s what Tanny would want.

Jzann

The mixed bag needs a spellcheck

Daughter of the Sun

I think you gotta gamify it more, but yes I want this in a mix bag

Giovanni The Fighter

Spell Check is sweeping the nation! Please do this as a mixed bag!

Rover Bernhard

I love spell check and might play it with my friends

Tim Drace

Sweeping the nation it’s SPELL CHECK!!! Please do more we all need it!

Michelle Muzny

PLEASE do spell check as a mixed bag! One addition I’d love is maybe a quick definition of the spell once it’s identified because I don’t know them all and would like to hear some context

A.E. Ross

Spell Check IS sweeping the nation but if you could find a way to give it the stakes of the argument over whether or not Jake could eat an entire rotisserie chicken I think it could sweep the globe.

evan deas

I can confirm that Australia has infact been swept.

Jbird723

The people demand more spell check

Renee Wild

Spell check 👏👏 Mixed bag 👏👏

Megan

I LOVE SPELL CHEEECK!! I want more pleeease!! Loved hearing Murph go from disliking it to asking for another round at the end! 🤣

preppy_prince

I LOVED Spell Check! Please do more!

Chloe Peifly

as i love anything that murph loudly disavows because of it “not being good radio” i love spell check so much.

Jareth

Spell Check IS sweeping the nation!

Josh

I am a big fan of spell check! please do a mixed bag

wolfdron

Loved mix bag. To gamify it more maybe make it a point system ? 3 points if they can guess the spell with just components. 2 points for level. And 1 point if they also need the school of magic or something.

Lorelei and Kyra Newly Weds

I personally enjoy the Spell check game as it's one I play during breaks at my table when someone is tryna figure something out separate, or a bathroom break is requested

Callum Taylor

Every spell has a Level, Casting Time, Range/Area, Components, Duration, School, Attack/Save, and Damage/Effect. So much to play with!

Jack M

WALMART RAN OUT OF BROOMS BECAUSE THIS IS SWEEPING

Jack M

I WOULD SUGGEST A bonus round where they have to guess what the components are Or Everyone has to pitch what the components should be, more complicated scoring system but would be fun

Sam Taz

Loving Spell Check!

Adam Kuhar

More Spell Check please!

Greywaren's Ghost

100% need more Spell Check in my life. Desperately. I only got one right and it hounds me.

Jessica

Loving spell check! Please do a mixed bag of it!!!

Matt Pearce

Spell Check and Tanny are both sweeping the globe.

Proopypants

Thank you for not excommunicating me 🙏

Valori Waggoner

I do want a Spell Check mixed bag yes please

Miles Henry

The person who submitted the cypher question is wrong, but solving that cypher by hand does not sound fun at all

Grace Bee

Spell check mixed bag with guests!

Manuel Berringhaus

LET THE GAME SWEEP THE NATION! THE PEOPLE WANT IT! <3

Skyler G.

Call me the nation because I am swept

Ramsey

I will upgrade my membership for a spell check mixed bag

You could make Spell Check a new monthly show and I would be stoked for it every time! Spell Check or we riot

Bobby Bogs

Spell check! Spell check! Spell check!

ananarama

Spell check would be such a fun mixed bag! It needs full on game show music and buzzers

Justin Atols

Spell check shall sweep the nation

Jesse Smith

Actually deciphering that message would have been long and boring. I agree with the player on that one

Juiced

I managed to get two of the Spell Checks right and literally fist pumped and cheered, I'm hooked and need more Spell Checks soon!

Brian Flaherty

Spell Check is for sure sweeping the nation

Vi

I love spell check, I will go up to the mixed bag tier just for spell check

Aspen

this game that is so mildly sweeping the nation, I would legit love a full ep of spell check

Donny

Spell Check is an amazing mini game. You should have a couple of other games that you can mox it with to create a full game show.

EMarie

😂💯

Bumphrey_Hogart

Spell check! Spell check! Spell check! Spell check!

Guilherme Farias

Watching jake go from not knowing how to play the game when they started to now just nailing spells based on their components is honestly awesome

Bat-Fran

Spell check is great but I want it as a video! Ask Sam if you can borrow the game changer set 🤣🤣 Winner has to take on Aabria (or TBF Liam was on it with his wizard components)

Ross Minick

We had fun with spell check and absolutely needs to be video

dakota james pedro

Spell check sounds amazing!! Looking into the reason for tue component is so cool!!

Dorian Doran

i’ve never wanted a stand-alone game show more than i want spellcheck

Cherie

Omg amazing game show 👏 love Spell Check! I'm swept up!

becs

#SPELLCHECKSWEEP

Brett

HELP!!! IVE BEEN SWEPT!!!

Alex Moore

Do spell check! Your Daily Double equivalent could be naming the spell and giving all the components PLUS an additional incorrect one, and contestants need to guess which one is the outlier

steven eaton

100% in on a mixed bag spell check

Xander M

Spell check would be a great mixed bag for sure

Dylan Jackson

Spell check rules! Another name(s) could be Spell Hell, or Hell of a Spell. When someone guesses the spell you'd say, that's one hell of a Spell!

Kal and her cats Portland, Star, and Berlin

The people desperately want a spell check mixed bag. Now you have three spin off shows - dungeon court, tortle tank, and spell check A holy trinity under dice christ

The game Spell Check is definitely sweeping at least this Canadian home in particular and I’d love to see a Mixed Bag of a full game! I may be bring it to my home games for a fun side quest.

Peydon Bush

theamazingtom

I'm here for spell check. It's a great way to learn components and have fun!

Brian Porter

You know we need a Spell Check mixed bag

Banalan

I will up my tier for a Spell Check mixed bag

Mike Fletcher

I'll absolutely show up for Spell Check

James Ching

Spell Check is pretty good. Maybe we give everyone little bells to ring, and do it with video too? And of course, there's got to be a prize and/or punishment.

Jacob

The people hunger for more!

Mooncrest

Spell Check should use the level of spell as categories

Mooncrest

Justice Tanny the Serial Chiller

Hannah Rubinek

The spell check game is indeed sweeping the nation!

Kevin Stefanowicz

I think Spell Check would be better if in addition to the level the school of magic was given - that’d make it easier to narrow down possibilities

Saru

Spell Check is sweeping the nation for sure

David Loughin

Spell Check 100% mildy stole my heart

Jake

Spell Check please

Mortimer Lunch

I just need to know HOW the dice ended up in cleavage?? That’s a wild bounce. Was she just leaning into the table?? Dafuq

JaycobJoh

Spell Check IS sweeping the nation

Grant Wallace

I think I made a bunch of typos in my campaign and could use some professional Spell Check-ing ☺️

Maia Costea

Love spell check, i am swept away

Alexis Cabrera

Spell Check has swept the nation and my heart. Spell Check Mixed Bag is needed for sure. I wouldn't be mad at Spell Check on Short Rest either 👀.

Braeden Harris

Spell check tournament, loser becomes the lowly bailiff.

YugiMoto

Spell check is EXACTLY the game show for my dumb adhd brain please bring more. Also someone mentioned everyone against brennan and that would be great

Julie Clere

I love spell check! Would love a mixed bag of it

Professor Pratt

Consider NH and (in my opinion) all of New England officially swept up by Spell Check!!!!

Grimmie

Please do a spell check mixed bag!!! It's fun to listen to and play along!!

Jason Ramirez

Yes! Spell check was fun. I only missed one 🤣. Hopefully we get more Tanny too!

Brock

Spell check is fun! But for the case with the DM tpk I don't think that DM did anything wrong until he said your actions have consequences. The cleric would probably use their turn either way to bring everyone up, so the lie didn't really change anything unless the Baron got an auto Crit or something. If the DM hadn't said anything about drinking an ale what would have changed? Would the party not get brought up?

Stephen Fike

Hopefully they make the spell check in the short rest feed

Quirt Wilson

Spell Check is sweeping the nation!!

Omar Mtz

Yes please to the Spell Check game!!! Can it be a video?? 😃

morgan

spell check is in fact sweeping the nation xx

Eat Your Art Veggies

Spell check is sweeping the nation! Not that I need another reason to bump up to mixed bag tier, but I would welcome another.

Tre K

Spell Check, the charming? Game that’s sweeping? The nation! No just kidding, I love it! It’s a great mix of goofy guessing plus game knowledge

pwmandragouras

More Spell Check! You can defs gameify it up with hints like Level, School (Necromancy, Evocation, etc) or Class(es)

Ella

here to say this game show is sweeping the nation* *my ears

Jenny morash

Spellcheck has kind of sort of borrowed my heart. Seriously though, I actually would enjoy this as a mixed bag. I was playing along at home and trying to guess, ironically, the only one I got right off the bat was lightning bolt.

Jared Parker

Spell check, more like SpellHeck Yes! Please give us more, I loved this concept and want to play a version of it as a drinking game with friends!

Drew

Spell Check absolutely rules, please continue 🤟

DM Dennis

Yes to spellcheck, needs to be gamefied a bit more. When done with mixed bag, sell the idea to College Humor and have drop-out produce a full show around it. I would 100% watch it and subscribe to drop-out for it.

Ben Foulcher

I’m spellbound by spell check, I’m swept up with the rest of the nation. Please make it a recurring game!!

Signe Krantz

Please, more spell check! My dream guest would be Liam O'Brien since his character in Critical Role campaign 2 had descriptions of how he used every single material component of spells he used. So he's used to thinking about it.

foster the boneless duck

we've already committed to playing spell check for a warm up at our next dnd game!!

Apple Slapple

You just gotta jazz up spellcheck with a looping price is right theme in the background then it will truly become perfect radio

Merrill

SPELL CHECK SWEEP!!!

Gearbox

For the beer-drinking bad guy, the player was technically actually meta-gaming? Like they specifically used out-of-character information to inform their decision. That being said, that is what insight checks are for.

Moonlit Ghost

I actually really enjoyed Spellcheck

OGBlake

I have seen people jumbling up the letters before putting them through a Caesar cipher. And if they did that, it would have taken an astronomical amount of time for them to figure out the correct letter shift and then solve the anagrams.

Brock Severson

My heart is mildly swept, gimme that spell check gameshow

Jewel Bryant

Yes! to spell check mixed bag

Elizabeth Morgan

Spell Check is indeed sweeping the nation. Mixed bag is a must please!!

68rosie419

Hergin dergin

Murph has a lot of dad watching a movie standing with his arms crossed energy for spell check

Brooke Cruz

More spell check that sounds so so fun

Big Sack Dragon

Spell check is fun for the people who play a lot and can guess spells. So… keep doing it

Maya Soh-Brown

Spell Check very much is sweeping the nation (slowly, though)

Faisa Awow

Spell check is indeed sweeping the nation AND WE NEED MORE 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Baron Trousers

I was confused by the math on the Dice-Christ confession. If the PC was at -14 from 55 damage, this means they had at lease 41HP before being hit. Which means their max HP needs to be at least 41? To be killed instantly you need to take damage that reduces you to 0 and the damage remaining equals or exceeds your hit point maximum. So for a character with 41HP to die instantly, they need to take at least 82 damage in one hit. The DM realised the PC should have take 77 damage rather than 55. But this still shouldn't be enough to kill the PC. Also, they described 2 perytons critting. Which would have been 2 separate attacks. I understand rolling the damage for multiple attacks together, for convenience and expediency. But RAW for the purposes of instant death, they should have been rolled separately, not pooled together into one big stack of damage.

Ellen

Spell Check was amazing to play along to on the drive back from vacation.

Z-borb

I would live more spell check

Victoria Green

Spell check needs to be a regular segment

Kate Oldham

Spell check was amazing, please bring it back!

Ryan

Spell Check?

Ryan

Literally all of them.

Lauren Tallant

Spell check sounds like a perfect mixed bag!

JackJack

Spell check best check

Ando

Y'all better check some spells

Eric Bouchey

I want more spell check.. hell I'd want a full standalone show.. even better get it on dropout for a full fledged game show with dnd guest rotation.. I wanna see Brennan play

Mich Blackie

Omg Spell Check is sweeping multiple nations! 😂

Mich Blackie

Omg Brennan should be a special guess boss. Him vs Everyone

boundspyral

The game show that's kind of sweeping the nation, has kind of stolen my heart. More Spell Check!

Jessica Petra

Yes pleeease more Spell Check. It would be awesome to have Aabria or Brennan host it 😁 . This game has huge "Um, Actually.." energy and I love that show so much.

Meletios

Noah James Perito

I LOVE SPELLCHECK!! I’ve been swept up with the rest of the nation

Megan

This nook of the nation has been swept! Give the people what they want!

Sara M

Yes please to the spell check mixed bag!

Colin Amos

I enjoyed the spell check segments 🙂

TheRaiOh

I really like spell check. As an audience member, it is something we can participate in at home like jeopardy so that adds to it. Plus I just love when people go through the spell components because every non cost associated one is a joke and most of them are pretty good. I think it also really proves you shouldn't be expected to have anything beyond your spell focus/component pouch and cost added components because they ARE clearly jokes.

Calvin Silver

I love spell check!! It is actually super interesting and always fun to hear some light ribbing and competitiveness amongst the justices—please do more!! I’ve never cared about spell components and I think most players don’t but this allows people to tap into an oft-ignored aspect of dnd. Plus, it’s kind of like a riddle! Which I love!

Mady Smith

I never comment but I just had to because I’m obsessed with Spell Check™

Clotilde

murph, the only person in a room of 4 people who doesn't like the thing: "surely no ones going to like this thing" WE LIKE SPELL CHECK BRIAN. WE ALL LIKE IT

Spell check is good thank you for it

The Fun Yaunt

When I tell you I JUMPED UP AND DOWN because I knew one of the Spell Check answers before the crew guessed it! 10/10 make it a mixed bag!!!

Alex Pyun

The fun of Spell Check is figuring out how the components relate to the spell, especially when they are a bit of a stretch. The purpose of the cocoon is a really fun way to think about the spell. Spell Check is actually sweeping the nation!

Alex Pyun

That’s what I didn’t understand. The cleric would have done the same thing right? They healed what they could but it wasn’t enough

Declane Gilhooley

Spell check was a great game, it could open up some possible role play while casting a spell

Declane Gilhooley

Also Inhave Emdoe stuck in my head, Thx guys. Now stat block it so I can use it in my game hahah

kay_be

Spell Check is sweeping the nation. 100% should be a mixed bag!

cobb saladbar

spell check is great, I'm hoping Jakes goes all the way to take the championship! maybe then he could practice in Boston again, having proven his proficiency!

Claire

Save some Spell Check morsels for the Short Rest! Don’t give em all away to Mixed Bag for those at a lower tier who are enchanted by the game show that is indeed sweeping the nation at a tepid pace

Alex Thompson

Spell check is indeed sweeping the nation

Simon Hughes

if spell check continues, I will personally be insulted as a DM for how little spells I know, I got one which I'm proud of, but actually 50% I have never thought about the spell name even, I gotta hit the players hand book hard to ace the next round

Zach A

I definitely want a “Spell Check” mixed bag!! I loved playing along while listening to the two episodes, I need more

NemoKeine

More spell check please

Carter Wolf

Spell check is awesome! You could also change the rules slightly to where you know the approximate level, but not the exact level to make it a bit more challenging

C_weezy

Ok y’all, are we not gonna even question how the hell a D20 was able to bounce up into another players cleavage?

Lucas Bond

I will start this passage by saying I'm a very sad man. A very sad farmer man who sits all day at his farm being sad. I'm a sad farmer man with sad farmer chickens. When was the last time I was happy you ask? Well it was when piccolo was the strongest one in dragon ball. Spell check finally brought back that Happiness I once had. So I not only ask you to do spell check. But if you do not. I will start sending fresh eggs to your PO box. I'll make sure to do the deluxe shipping so they get there fast. But what will you do with hundreds of fresh eggs in your PO box huh? Every new episode Calwels goin to say "let's shout out our PO box oh btw whoever is sending us fresh eggs please stop there is to many and the PO box is full. It's overflowing with fresh eggs. I'm sacred to shut it cause all the fresh eggs are going to break and get everywhere." But I WONT!!! I'll never STOP!!! until Spell check mixed bag hits. Consider this your fresh egg warning.

Sienna Votry

Spell check should become its own show hosted by Zac so Emily can play too, and I’ll watch/ listen to every episode forever!

Winterbat

Hit us with a spell check mixed back and bring Tanny back as a main contestant each time

Lilpuddin

Hit us with more Spell Check!

J M

I've been meaning to join the patreon for a while, but the thing that finally pushed me over the edge was the prospect of more Spell Check!

Wings of Silver

First time listening to a d&d court lmao, guess I should check out your other content now instead of just the campaign 😜

Rachael Lovely

Guys I’m not going to lie… I really like Spell Check!

Gemma Grantham

More Spell Check! But I kind of wish it was called Spelling C.

Kacie Bingham

Another in favor of spell check!

Locemo

love Spell Check!

Squib

I'm all in on Spell Check!

Matthew Ray

1 vote for Spell Check mixed bag.

Marge and in charge

Spell check rules! Adding the lvl was really good I feel like a fun “phone a friend” option would getting either the school of magic or which classes can cast the spell

Shellby Davis

Please give us more spell check!

Kat Camille

I want to host a spell check game show now!

Fulton

did jake say Fulton? do i have a missing brother? am i not the only one?

Akira

Looove spell check! It's fun to play along with too

Sophia048

Chiming in with my tiny bell to say spell check is the best and I am disproportionately proud of myself for getting unseen servant when no one else did

Tylerscer

50 Bad Songs

I really love spell check. Please keep it going forever and ever amen

Grass

I love all the cases and how you decide them but a part of me missed when you sentenced people to like getting fed to sharks

Christopher Berge

Need more spell check! Sweeping the nation for sure

Beav

Finally getting caught up! Let it be known that Spell Check is solid audio content. Ive been hitting pause to play along during a long drive.

Brad Bell

Spell Check must become a staple. Especially for new guests to play.

St Avrel

Spell Check is great!

Garrett Durham

I’m waiting on normal breaths for the mildly entertaining game show to return

Bradley Wright

This game? Sweeping the nation? I think? Absolutely!

Trevor Keen

I was left wondering if that guy lost his die to the magic boobs.

AgedGouda

Pretty sure the guy who was “accidentally power gaming” also cheated. He said he got natural 12s on his dmg dice, but he had polearm master? He should have a glaive or halberd’s d10

Kristen M.

I miss Spell Check! I could listen to like two hours of it straight thanks.

Doomster

I would definitely listen to a whole spellcheck episode.

Brahigus

Wait did that one player in the Cypher not tell anyone about the Cypher either?

I’m obsessed with spellcheck, defo bring us more. I like playing along and seeing how well I remember my lore!

Such an easy solve on the accidental OP by the DM: slap 200 more HP on that BBEG. Who will know?

Came here exclusively for spell check and was not disappointed

Spell Check really makes you understand why people make component casters.

damn this is the worst comment section of this whole podcast I think. like 350 of the same message damn I wanted to see what people thought of the cypher case (player in the right like 60% but the advice they give is real)

AgedGouda

I think the player who used the internet to solve the cypher was fine and his table overreacted. They maybe all should’ve cooperated more sooner so he’d know they didn’t want it, but since he wasn’t told that wouldn’t be okay, he’s fine to use a tool. I’m more interested in the justices sympathy for this “accidental power gaming” who absolutely intentionally took ALL the S tier martial stuff. Very unlikely to stumble into such a min maxed character.

Oh I also would’ve liked to see anyone acknowledge how in the DM who lied with a nod case, the whole “being lied to by the Baron” is completely irrelevant. The player was last alive, and unless the baron was like 10 HP, they were going to lose that fight, so healing their friends was their best option. They weren’t tricked into doing anything that wasn’t already the best course of action. The DM saying “actions have consequences” is suspect, but the player is ultimately wrong imo.

I think I would have done the same as the submitter of the caesar salad case. If there's some long math equation, yeah I can solve it by hand but why? Lets get more gameplay out of the session esp if its not always easy to get together. With that said, I would have used the website to solve it but let everyone know that I did before saying the answer in case others wanted to do it the long way.

You know, I'm with Tannie on the Jameson case. Im think a newbie watching a vet player total whomp an enemy would get me pumped to want to do the same thing one day!
