Gromdahl shaping up to be a great villain. The bits and pieces we’ve seen have shown despite being a dirty rat dwarf, he’s still quite cunning and highly competent. Escaped prison, almost yoinked the serpent despite not being physically present, and now establishes his Bad Guy credentials by taking out another spooky villain.

You are walking down the street in the busy city you call home when you notice an older looking man dressed in a stereotypical wizard outfit, robes, pointy hat, gnarled staff, all the trimmings. He is scribbling in a note book and mumbling to himself as he walks. You notice that he is about to walk through a crosswalk that has just closed and a bus is barreling down the road. Without thinking about it you bearhug this person and yank them back with all your might. The man looks like he is about to smack you with his staff when the bus zooms pass him a second later. He turns to you and says “My young friend, you have earned a great reward this day!” Before you can ask any questions or even let him go he slams his staff on the sidewalk. It erupts in light and you are transported to a town filled with strange creatures and whimsical buildings. You saved the life of a real wizard! He spends some time trying to convince you to become his apprentice and live here in this magical world but accepts your refusal when you say you have a family you love and a life that you actually kinda like back home and agrees to send you back.He says that he can send you back to any time and place you wish, however because of the complexity of interdimensional transportation the margin of error for time is about 1-3 years either forward or backward and if you see or interact with your past self it will create a time paradox that will disrupt the flow of time and causality and quite possibly end the world. The Wizard also gives you a chest of non-magical treasure (Precious gems, Golden coins and jewelry) to thank you for saving his life. Where and when do you have the Wizard send you back?
