Just in time for the Hoglidays, the 2 Crew gathers around their giant, rock-shaped television to watch the Flinstones' take on Charles "Brickens" festive classic. Is the film any good? Will Emily need a year off from the show? Pour yourself a cup of Stegg Nog and come help us find out! PS - Here's few screencaps for context:

Scrooge's weird, beady-eyed nephew.

Fred's new love interest???

Fred being an asshole for no reason.

The Bedrock Bug

A scene that literally made one of us cry.

Happy Hoglidays!~The 2 Crew

Merry Christmas!!

LowlyWorm

It makes sense this was the December mixed bag because Emily is gonna need the rest of the year off now

Wyl

oh no, Emily is gonna need so many months off.

James B

I think we all need a week off

gerard

How long is Emily gonna need off for this

Ian Rone

Finally the content we’ve been waiting for!

Hammy

This is just some good fun around the house

margot d

I sent a bunch of friendship bracelets to the PO Box & I doubt it got there in time but I did send a “Flintstones Anti” bracelet for Emily. Ig we’ll see if its still needed after this

Olivia

Emily is so strong for braving through this episode. A true testament of grit and perseverance.

Gnarrrwhal

How do they know what I want when I don’t even know it exists.

Wyl

on a serious note, thank you to the naddpod gang for the laughs, goofs and gaffs (and some tears) throughout the year. couldn't have done this one without you guys, sincerely. can't wait to listen to this one, and am looking forward to more Twilight Sanctorum!

Ty Moran

Just when everyone was getting excited for the possibility of more Twilight Sanctorum, you had to run Emily off the show for the next 1+ years. Smh

Sydney S

NO FUCKING WAY!!!! this will be a very happy hoglidays

Courtney F.

Gonna guess it's Caldwell that cries?

Beef

Emily's maxxing out her PTO

Dylan Jackson

No fucking way... YES I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE RETURN OF THE FLINTSTONES!

ABigdude

Really going to miss Emily on the Pod, but I hope she recovers during her PTO

Zachary Dyer

So, January mixed bag is Emily’s dinosaur campaign?

Kyle Veach

YABBA DABBA DOO BABY, LET'S GOOOOO

alli

why did we get the phrases “the good pipe” and “strong log” in the flintstones mixed bag?? I mean I’m here for it but jfc

ashton r

A dinosaur campaign would actually be so sick

alli

this is random but if people are looking in the comments and hoping to find a good Christmas Carol adaptation, I’d recommend A VHS Christmas Carol which is available for free on YouTube. it has 80s vibes and it rules.

Eduardo

I'm gonna put money on Jake. He's the one that cried when he watched Moana

Robert B

Happy Hoglidays!

Tom J

I adore when the gang go into full Fan Fic territory. An excellent holiday treat and my wish is for a "The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown!" Mixed Bag in the future.

Michael Glander

So weird nerd moment red hair is genetically recessive so someone who has an ancestor with red hair can have a red head kid. Both my parents are dark brunette but both my dad and me have red patches in our facial hair

D3X-SAVE

Emily needs the next 6 months off

Some Clown

Thank you, Merry Christmas to the 2 Crew

scott kennedy

I’m playing Santa tonight filling children’s stockings and placing presents with a surprise hogliday podcast in my ear. Thanks so much, happy hoglidays

Vaelyhn

Emily please do the twilight sanctorum family in Bedrock like Caldwell did Trinivale triplets and Sonic.

Peydon Bush

Its honestly meaningful to me that yall come out with a Christmas special every year. I always look forward to it and its a part of my holiday tradition (i have an hour drive to see my family so it’s literally perfect lol)

Alan Ma

January mixed bag will be travel stories from Emily's PTO

Del

What do you think all of us would do if Emily genuinely quite the show for several months to take her Flinstones vacations lol. I think I’d hate it but admire her commitment to the bit.

WeedGoku69

Just wanted to say i just got my dungeon court sweater for xmas and I couldn’t be more excited to wear it when i see yall in DC!

Excelsidorks!

Merry Christmas NADDPOD and POLES! 🎄⛄

Natsuka

Oh my god, I would LOVE to hear Emily run some stuff in the Flintstones world whenever she returns from her extended sabbatical

FregLover

Fred Flintstone? More like Philanderer Flintstone

Olivia Spencer

I've never been more happy for the ending to cut out early than in this episode

Macauly Leiher

It’s about time we talked about the Frankenstones. That season also saw Fred and Barney being cops with some weird dick creature named schmoo or something (I’m not googling it) and captain caveman I think was also in this because he was in Flintstone Kids as well.

jess?

Absolutely loosing my mind at everyone trying to gaslight murph about the dancing

Shane C

If you do your next NYC live show at Radio City Music Hall will you dance?

Mellzs

Holy shit guys I can't stop listening to the dancing portion of this thanks for the Hogliday cheer and Christmas cackles

Dr. Silverback, MD

What do you mean, "Fred being an asshole for no reason?" He's talking to a cop, that's reason enough.

tonytheoneandonly

this was so funny lol PLEASE watch the live action Flintstones!!!!

FregLover

She would need so much time off though

A.E. Ross

Garfield absolutely still whips

Myc Giaco

I actually run a dinosaur campaign based on the Dinotopia books by James Gurney, it’s actually pretty dope and I would love to publish a supplement or something one day!

Rick

Emily needs to watch the 1991 show 'Dinosaurs' Pitch- What if the Flintstones WERE the dinosaurs, and tackled modern problems like teen drug use and climate change. Plus they're all played by sophisticated life-sized Jim Henson puppets.

EmperorGreed

This makes me want to see them read for 8 bit book club the 2016 Flinstones DC comic where they get a new right wing mayor that wants to reignite the genocidal war Fred and Barney were duped into taking part in, and Bam-Bam was adopted from his burned village as the last survivor of his people. Maybe Jake could even be on

Heckin Good

But for the hoglidays? (faux disappointed tutting)

Bee W

i’m getting married on Feb 2nd next year, i’ll be sure to shoutout Fred day of 👍

K

Sonic drawing for the Hoglidays. I'm also wondering if there is anything in particular planned for Mixed Bag #69 lol

Emma

I had my college graduation at radio city music hall and 100% had to learn the high kick

Zeon Liberation

You’re taking the Flintstones for…granite.

CommodoreBlue

Please watch the live action Flinstones with John Goodman and Rosie O’Donnell 🙏🙏🙏

Robert

“I found Fred Flintstone to be repugnant” is such a great quote, thank you Emily.

Adrian Woodhouse

I understand our love of dino tech, but the phrase "it's a living" makes me think the dinos are being paid... Which means you're basically paying a subscription to use your washing machine, to do your dishes, even to write a damn letter.

ThacoIsWacko

There were 69 comments. Now there are 70.

Toblerone. jpg

I think they’re just getting fed, I don’t think they’re receiving money

Ryan Simeoli

So funny to hear them talk about radio city like this when the only thing I’ve seen at radio city music hall is naddpod
