Anyone else finding it harder and harder to listen to these due to the meanness towards Jake? I think this bit has overstayed its welcome. He’s gotta be absorbing it on some unconscious level and if this were my friends I’d put a stop to it, leaves a bad taste in my heart to hear.

He owns the company that distributes the podcast. He has a beautiful wife and daughter. He's been a professional comedian for 20 years, playing the straight man who gets bullied for no reason for basically all those 20 years, often by Murph's characters. He's fine. If you wouldn't like it they wouldn't do it to you. It's extremely clear Jake isn't affected by it, based on the fact that he continues to show up to work and be best friends with them.

I just wouldn’t hang out with people who continuously pick on person in the group. They are all successful why aren’t the jeers shared equally. How long have they been doing dungeon court?Why is he still the “lowly” bailiff? It’s just boring at this point and also cruel. It doesn’t matter about someone’s background or if they don’t mind being the butt of the joke it needs to be shared. I always enjoy the episodes where everyone is on even ground and then they all razz on each other. This one just seems so far gone, it’s been done, it’s past the rule of 3 times a million. Switch it up let someone else be the bailiff if this has become cannon for dnd court but I ask why does it need to be. Just wondering if anyone else agrees

I was just asking a question not trying to convince anyone. We are different people with different viewpoints. I would say the same thing if Emily was the one being targeted as the constant butt of the joke. It’s just energetically in bad taste. All of the people writing in emails poking at Jake even through they don’t know him. I don’t know him either, but energy adds up. I’m just saying I don’t enjoy this show as much as the others due to the jeers on one person. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about my experience

I truly do appreciate your compassion, but Bailiff Jake is just a character that people joke about. I have faith that Actual Jake is fully able to differentiate the two. Actually, suggesting that he would be broken down by this without just talking to his friends about stopping that bit might be meaner in a sense

According to d&d beyond, the jester and and fool are the only cards that don't go back into the deck. All others do

To the Deck of Many Things draws, you do announce how many you want to draw, but you only draw one at a time, so you can get the same one twice in the draws. The Donjon and Void cards both say do not draw more cards, so if you get one of these on the first draw, you lose any others draws you wanted
