Building my own website for more independence (Patreon)

With the current 7 day suspension on deviantart over a weekend in which i can't reach customer service to figure the problematic gallery out , i got nicely reminded why being an NSFW creator is a real struggle and you are always at risk of losing your money inflow.
I asume that one of the SFW galleries were ironically not tame enough and the system flagged me automatically (it was outside of worktime for EU and US) .

I am tired of this constant fear of losing access to my distribution platforms and money to pay for daily needs.

That is why i will fall back to my good old programmer skills as an Ex Full Stack developer and build my own website to funnel my content towards to.

I will try to implement the patreon api to allow patreon members easy access to the site (tough i heard the api is not so reliable lately)

Payment gateways are always a struggle with nsfw content but i have already made a plan and chosen my candidates for payment and webhosting.

The site will be my major "business presence" the front will be clearly sfw and nsfw adult content will be behind membership.

This is major work. While my strength is clearly in UI/UX , doing frontend and backend alone while maintaining a good gallerz upload schedule is a huge task. I don't want to use those premade websites because they are not flexible to my needs.

This will lead to me being more occupied the coming weeks, but I think the result could be amazing. And just maybe i can think of other ways to create revenue streams like ads for non members and so on. It will be interesting.

The biggest issue tough, are initial costs, the current initial costs that annoys me the most is for the payment gateway annual revenue of around 500$ .
While i can afford the cost, it would still push me back a bit on other expenses i planned.

I hope this will work out,and I am sorry for the inconvenience. I hope at least it is fun to see the development from ai slop to hopefully a company with multiple employees!
