Rikku - FFX-2 [Pinups] (Patreon)

It's Sunday again and today I want to show you guys the new model I made: Rikku from FFX-2. These are 9 pinups, with three major variations, including lighting.

This model took me quite a long time to complete. The main reason was the hair. I wanted to remake her hair model from scratch. While at it I also changed the model entirely. The original model used quite low resolution textures, and I had to take some liberties to interpret how she'd look with higher resolution models and textures. In particular her hair is a lot more voluminous.

There's a scene in FFX where Rikku partly "strips"(not really, but she does it kind of suggestively). One of my motivations in making this model was to have a model I could use to make a similar animation. The other Rikku model I have looks good but the rig was very outdated and difficult to animate.

I wanted to have made an animation for today as well but I only finished the hair a few hours ago. This was quite a difficult hair model.

Rikku and Lulu were also some of the first characters I ever tried to model way back when. I kind of have the habit of remaking them every few years.

We will be getting new animations next for everyone(Marie and Kanna in particular but also Aerith, Rikku, Scarlet and others). We have a nice repertoire of waifus to play with!
