Quick Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Quick update on what's next, and also an update on the game.

Right now I'm focusing on the new Marie animation, the one I posted a preview for a few days ago. It's a longer instructional video, Halloween-themed. I'm not sure I can complete it in full in time for Halloween, but I'll keep working on it and, if it's not complete by then, I'll at least post a new part on Sunday.

As for the game, the voice actress for the game hasn't responded my emails in a month, and while I have enough voice lines for the full game already I started to consider rewriting the script and sending it to a different voice actress instead.

While considering a new voice actress, I started to consider Japanese. The reason is that many of the constructions we use in English to write lines for hentai and hentai-inspired content feel more natural in Japanese. That's because effectively they come from translations that try to capture Keigo or Japanese word order, which people like me came to associate with hentai. In English a certain layer of expressiveness is kind of lost, especially when it comes to a maid showing extreme obedience and respect to a master. Plus, exposing myself to the language like this would help me improve, so that served as additional motivation. In short, I rewrote several voice lines in Japanese and liked it. Unfortunately I couldn't find any native Japanese voice actress who accepted NSFW content like this.

I'll keep looking and see what I can do, but one thing is certain: I want to make something in Japanese. It's mainly because it helps me learn the language, but also because I like the typical master and servant dynamic, and Keigo is particularly nice to express that.

I have something in mind, but I'm still working on it. I won't try to complete the game this month, I'll give it one more month. This is about the time I had planned to post it this month. I apologize to those who wanted to see it in full this month. I'm sorry. It's still coming though, so just a little while longer.

There's a gameplay video below that shows some of the new gameplay "style". Before, I would control the animation with a speed factor. Now I'm controlling the animation with an action key directly, how the animation plays depends on how fast I press it.

This is an "interaction". An interaction consists of several "poses", each pose consisting of several loops in turn. One major thing you can do is kiss her. You can also change how you're having sex with her in a specific position, such that, for instance in this case, it would still be anal but in a different way.
