Great episode! Random question and totally fine if not possible (know how busy y'all are). Any chance there's a way to link some of the sources u guys find the info for the episodes from in the comments or description? Not coming from a "must fact check ur facts" place but from a true animal nerd "I want to read the studies you found these from" place cuz Im a weirdo that has fun doing that. Again COMPLETELY fine if not and will continue my googling and asking chatgpt to power my geeky research side quest deep dives!

Aren't all these numbers based on evaluated species? If yes then I imagine that many species are not evaluated because there is no reason to (there are no signs that they are in decline)

Maybe it comes up later, but after the first shocking minutes: How many species are developing per year? If 9 are going extinct "by nature", there must be more than that "evolving"(?) every year. Thanks for podcast, you are the best!

An ecotourism episode would be awesome to watch. It's so tough knowing the state that nature is in currently

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on Zooniverse - it's a citizen science site I used in college. Could be a good resource to hand out to folks who are interested in participating in conservation efforts!
