On my way to MagicCon Las Vegas, I was stopped by security at my local airport. The TSA agent asked me what all the boxes in my luggage were. I explained that they were from a card game called Magic, and they eventually let me repack and leave. When I was leaving Las Vegas, again security stopped me. This time the TSA agent asked, "Magic cards?" and I said "yup!" and he let me go without even checking any of my bags.

Could have also let TSA filter out Rhystic Studies, Armageddons or Stax decks. ;)

It’s because they know about the convention at Vegas with thousands of attendees.

Probably a variant of an existing comic: (TSA agent looking at the screen on the X-ray machine). Winter Orb? Armageddon? Sorry, sir, but we need to do a more thorough search.

For some reason, this arrived in my emails after the "most fun" comic did, so I only got this now. I remember PVDDR having issues with the TSA, mostly because packed magic cards in a box, particularly in a fatpack, apparently show up looking like C4 on the TSA Scanners. Or they did around a decade ago anyway.

That’s weird with the emails. Yes, when I was going through security, they specifically cited the large stacks of tokens I was bringing as setting off the machines.
