Warning! Don't read any further if you don't want any spoilers!

I have something to admit. I feel a little bad about the last Jace comic I made. When I wrote it, I didn't think Jace would actually die. Now that he's passed (although his spark has been passed on), I regret a little making light of an event that's pretty big in the history of Magic. Especially with all the UB stuff, it would have been a good time to celebrate Magic's own lore. Oh well, when you draw like 1800 comics, you can't be happy with everything!

*SPOILERS* I don't. Yay, he's dead, party hats for everyone!!!! In all seriousness, though, I know he had his fans, and the story made you feel empathy for him, but I'm glad he's gone. The only thing that's left to ask is how much of the person he was that I disliked is actually in Tam. Blue Planeswalkers have a history of being obnoxious to play against in 60-card constructed formats. It sucked that Jace was beating you in Standard, and you turned to the lore, and he was being an arse there too. Teferi at least seems to be a cool person, even if some of his planeswalker cards are super obnoxious. In other news, we get to see Emrakul being the goodie instead of the badie? That's cool, I like that. On a different topic, my favourite alternate timeline card in the set so far is "Fblthp who loves adventures and always knows where he's going". What really got me into that character is the story about him being a gardener in one of the Ravnican Temples. Gave him a lot more character than just someone who is always lost. Found Fblthp feels like the happy, confident version of himself he's always deserved.

You called it pretty accurately. When I realized that Jace is going to be the big bad villain, I was like, he's toast!
