Thanksgiving Update (Patreon)
Content
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American Patreon backers. Hope you had a happy and safe holiday.
Just wanted to give a couple of quick updates. I'll apologize now for any typos. Between the red wine and tryptophan, I'm feeling a little tipsy right now.
First, sorry for the lack of updates lately. Putting together a new book ended up being way more work than I was expecting. There were some subtle issues with the files that took me many days to fix. Fortunately, everything is looking good now, and hopefully the book will be available for purchase within the next week. I was hoping to have it out by Cyber Monday, but unfortunately that's looking pretty unlikely. But I guess having it out before Christmas is better than not.
Second, the deadline for getting the new red evolution playmat is less than a week away. If you're interested, don't forget to up your pledge before the end of November. If you're not interested, and currently pledging at playmat level, don't forget to update your pledge so you don't get overcharged. If you could continue to pledge me at a lower level, I would super appreciate it. Even a bunch of small pledges can quickly add up!
Finally, since I'm feeling in the Thanksgiving spirit, I wanted to extend a big thank you for your support on Patreon. After going on hiatus for over three years, I felt a little shy and apprehensive about rejoining this community. I was especially worried about asking for support on Patreon, but I also felt it was something I had a responsibility to do (given that making these comics uses up time I could be spending with my family or other work I have). So for these reasons, I am super thankful for the support and encouragement you're giving me through your pledges on Patreon. It's really making a big difference in allowing me to continue making these comics that I love to write and draw. I realize that things are tough for a lot of people these days, so I especially appreciate you making this effort to support my comics right now. Thanks so much!
