Anyone following the mess that is Magic organized play? I'm pretty conflicted. I want to write comics slamming WotC for their mismanagement, but my sense is that more and more of my readers don't even care about organized play anymore (maybe that was WotC's goal). So instead I drew this silly comic instead of something much more cynical. Okay, I'll stop ranting now.

I haven't done organized play since the Theros Beyond Death pre-release. I did so poorly (I only played in one, because I was off to Asia for a trip for a few weeks) I decided to take a short break from Magic. Which has turned into a 15 month and counting break because there is no organized play with LGS closed to FNM and other tournaments (not that MagicFest is faring any better at my last look).

I'm just waiting for organized play to return to normal before I start caring again.

you help people escape and be entertained. I don't wanna be in political drama/overpaying for people to harass me with their messages/values dissonance.
