If you happen to be wondering what I've been up to in my free time, it's been starting to put together the 9th volume of Cardboard Crack comics. This requires that I go through all my artwork files over the last few months, reformat them, and start placing them into the outline of a book. This looks something like this:

I try to automate as much as I can, but for a 142 page book, it can still be a tedious process.

Something else I've been thinking about lately is whether I should do a Kickstater associated with this book's release (probably sometime this summer). In the past, I've resisted doing a Kickstarter because I was worried I wouldn't have the time to spend on it. But a lot of people have showed interest in getting books that are signed or have sketches. A Kickstarter would be a good way for me to make this available for a limited time.

I haven't decided for sure though. If this is something that you'd be interested in, please let me know.

If you're going for Kickstarter, I'm in 😀

Same here - kickstarters are a great idea!

Thanks, that's nice to hear. I'll have to think about what kind of bonuses I could do, such as signatures, sketches, and tokens.

Sounds like a good idea.

The artist signed cards community has been growing a lot in recent years as far as i can tell from the more popular facebook groups. While its not a card, some are just interested in all kinds of autographs - like on playmats, deck boxes or the art books. I'd probably get a copy (depending on international shipping rates) and my guess is that there would be at least some others that would do so. Did you do a comic about signed cards? I could just share that in my two favorite groups and gauge interest for a kickstarter campaign.
