I get the joke, but this also hurt. Did you know that over the past five years, WotC has printed more cards that make treasure tokens, than any other token in MTG history. Treasure is the #1 created token in magic now. beating Zombies I think and those have been around since IDK Mirrage? Ice Age? I know they were in Invasion and Odyssey. But yeah... Treasure.

Cardboard Crack

That's crazy. I knew they've printed a lot of treasure generating cards, but not that many! It doesn't help that I think WotC has underrated how good treasures are. If you view every three treasures that Dockside Extortionist makes as being better than Black Lotus (because you can split up the colors), you see treasures a little different. At least they're starting to have treasures come into play tapped now.

They remind me of the Saga Free Spells like Time Spiral and Great Whale. sure you had to wait until a certain amount of lands were hit, but it was still free. At least the "Free Mana" didn't last past steps and phases.
