Not going to lie, I've felt pretty overwhelmed by all the previews going on right now. I had an idea for an Unfinity-themed comic, but while I was editing it Brothers' War previews, Transformers cards, 30th Anniversary Edition, and many Secret Lair announcements occurred. It makes it hard to feel relevant!

1k for 60 proxies is genuinely wild, but yeah, it sets a precedent. If they think beta proxies are worth the money, they must think proxies are ultimately okay to play with. Otherwise that offer is just for a pile of useless cardboard

Honestly for me, my issues with proxies has always been about how they are made. I've seen a lot of proxies with Thick plastic on the front and very thin paper. APs, gold bordered, CED and ICE cards have always been ok with me as they're made to be the same quality as official cards. I think official proxies are awesome, but $1k is fing ridiculous. I've also heard there was some copy write issues with Jeff A Menges's art. I don't know the whole story. It sounds not great.

There's also been some posts from Quinton Hoover's family about not being notified about the use of his artwork. I guess they can use the profit from this product to payoff potential lawsuits.

It's possible, but if Hasbro and WotC sue the original artists, it could burn the last bit of good will the fandom might have for them. I wonder if the Rush estate has made any comment.

I am definitely feeling burnt out of spoilers, I'm going into Infinity release completely blind and I'm very happy about that (other than Jace). I'm all for building hype for the game but shit man let me BREATHE!!! But yeah I think the 30th anniversary stuff is BS, if you're going to break the reserve list do it! Then change 1,000. But if you're going to sell me proxies you better be selling me proxies for cheap!
