I'm feeling this vibe. I've been adding and tweaking cards in so many deck and building cubes, and yet I don't play them much. I finally got out to play commander Friday and it was really fun. I got to play my new Urza, High Artificer deck (the WUB one) for the first time. I was honestly surprised at how crazy it got. All I had was mostly small mana rocks and then played Urza, started pumping out those constructs and got to having 4, 13/13 constructs with malice. We all lost to Elf Ball, but at least I got to get a real game test in. My second game was my Ur-Dragon, which is just Dragon/Legendary tribal. I won that one as one player was a bit screwed on mana and the other deck couldn't out pace my tempo. I'm looking forward to going out next Friday and maybe Saturday to do more commander. Also does anyone know of any good combos in WUB colors that are Enchantment based and have printings available in the original border or as the new kids at WotC call it, "the retro border"? (So cards from TSR, MH2, BRO and DMU) I could really use some help with a strategy for my Zur deck to win, or what goal it has. It feels very lack luster with taking out cards that are the Modern and Post Modern card frame and not available in the OG border.

As far as the different printings go I’m unsure but if you are talking about the new Zur then a couple of the cards I use to help close out the game in mine are Shark Typhoon and Hallowed Haunting or you can also just go with the classic Sanguine Bond Exquisite Blood combo for a instant win hope this is helpful.

Thanks for the stories! Not sure how to help with your WUB deck. Maybe check EDHREC?

I don't build nearly fast enough for this to be an issue, but I completely understand the sentiment. I'm working on my Commander deck number 4, and I've been playing the format for 11 years, Magic for 24... I will be building a PreDH deck, though, that sub format calls to me...
