I'm curious to see how the Battle cards play out. I'm a little worried that limited games will run long because they incentivize players to attack the Battles rather than each other. (Didn't that happen in War of the Spark drafts because of all the planeswalkers?) Otherwise, I think they are pretty sweet cards and evocative of the war occurring in the storyline.

Is Tarmagoyf better now there is another card type?

They should be called pinata cards instead, because the current concept of battle cards make no sense. 🪅

The Siege type might be a bit weird, but I think Battles can have a pretty wide design space in general.

The mechanics is interesting, but I think it's a fail in terms of card design. Not every noun is meant to be a permanent.

You better get your Tarmogoyfs now before the price spikes!

Ha, they're not that bad, are they? I think they're a fun and pretty intuitive idea. I'm worried about what they'll do in limited because people will be attacking battles instead of each other which could make games last long. But interestingly, there are a lot of token makers in this set, so maybe that helps offset this.
