Aftermath is out this weekend. Are you buying any? Most of the people I know are only getting a few legendaries they like if anything. So I'd be curious if this is most people's experience.

I'm not. I had a box pre-ordered in Amazon and canceler after the massive leak. Super sucky set. If you see the profesor video the compleat set of regular border cards is just $150 at launch that is going down down.

I pre-ordered 3 collector boxes from my LGS at $190 each (which was less than the Amazon price at the time). I was going to do box opening videos, but after I saw the Professor's financial analysis, I decided to sit on them and pretend they are Dragon's Maze boxes.

If each box had 5 mythics and you hit the top 5 mythics in your box, you still wouldn’t break even with the price of the box. This set is just horribly priced in the same way the 30th Anniversary boxes was.If aftermath boxes are priced half their current price, it would be palatable to most players.

I’m not buying any boosters. I’m just taking the Professor’s advice this time and ONLY buying the top 5 that the Professor suggested for the 99, and a couple others. This set isn’t even good enough to tempt me to open any boosters, which is saying something since I will normally have the shakes if I go a week without opening any of the most recent boosters.
