Quick Update (Patreon)

I just wanted to make a post because I haven't shared as many new comics as I would like lately. Long story short, things are getting busy for me with my job and my kids starting school, so I just have less time to think of ideas for comics. On top of this, the speed of new cards and Magic news has been so relentless that it's been hard for me to keep up. Sometimes by the time I think of a comic idea, that preview season is already over and the comic feels like old news.

This lack of time has also made it hard for me to play much Magic. This hurts my ability to write as well because playing Magic is the best way to reinvigorate my excitement for it. One dream I have is to maybe sometime bring my books to a Magic event, because it would be so much fun to meet all of you face to face. That would also definitely reinvigorate me. Hopefully someday!

Anyway, I'll keep posting comics when I have the time, but I felt I owed it to you guys to give an update since you've been so generous with your support on Patreon. Also, I'm going to take a break from designing new playmats for the time being. When I get a free night to draw, my priority is making new comics for you rather than playmats! So if you continue at the playmat tier, I'll give you the choice of an existing playmat each month.
